Good hotel, enjoyed my stay, but read more reviews to make sure it’s what you require
Pros:

Staff were excellent. Food was good and reasonably priced. Generator kicked in each time the power went off, as it frequently does in Zanzibar.

Cons:

Air conditioning didn’t ever really get to really cool the room

Good location very average hotel
Pros:

Good location but down some grotty streets. Moved us rooms after mosquito net feel off the ceiling. Coffee/tea in room. Air con and fan. Staff ok.

Cons:

Shower head not clean. Generally needs a revamp. Instant coffee at breakfast. Bed squeaky
