The room was clean and the staff were friendly. We got ourself a parking as per the booking. Very close to Jonker Walk and has a very good ambience.
The property collected deposit much earlier before we arrived. I believe this was not the appropriate way but the deposit already deducted from our card without any notification. I only got to know when I want to check-in. And be prepared to pay more than what was shown on Booking.com, whereby this was only told at the counter during check-in. This is the kind of surprises that will kill the holiday mood.
This is an exceptional boutique hotel. I expected something much less, but I got what I told friends a 5-star treatment. I recommend this place highly.
For the money I paid, I got more than I should.
THe hotel location was excellent. It is within walking distance to all the places that we wanted to explore - be it for the meals (cafes, restuarants) and cultural places like museums. Jonker street is just less than a 5min stroll/walk away. The room is clean and big enough, comfortable to stay - we did not stay in the room but just for resting at the end of the day or to unload our tibits, goodies shopping bags and to stay away from the heat (room air conditioner is strong). Didn't take the hotel breakfast too since there are so many nice cafes along the street. Parking is easy and free too at the back of the hotel but is limited so may be problematic if is during peak period. Room wifi is working well too. Friendly staff and easy to communicate in english.
The water pressure from the rain shower head iwould be better if is stronger. The drinking water bottles are not replenished daily. It is limited to 2 bottles per stay regardless of no of night stays. Pilows in my own standard are too low and soft but they provided 4 pillows and 2 cushions to make up for it. Overall I would still say the stay is a commfortable one.
Location very good
The Piilows , quilt and towels are very old and should be replaced with new ones. Look like not clean. The door locks are somewhat broken and there is no sense of security.

Très bien situé dans Chinatown dans une jolie maison chinoise. Chambre bien équipée, douche spacieuse. Très calme, donnant sur un patio intérieur.

Das Hotel liegt in der Altstadt in einer Parallelstraße zur Jonker Street. Zu Fuß sind es nur ca. 2-3 Minuten zur Jonker Street, zum Fluss Ufer mit vielen Restaurants, zum Hard Rock Cafe oder zum roten Platz.
Wir hatten das Zimmer direkt über dem Eingang zur Straße hin und haben super gut geschlafen.
Man hört zwar, wenn mal ein Motorrad vorbei knattert, das hat uns aber nicht gestört.
Das Zimmer war klein, aber sehr zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Alles da was man braucht.
Für das Bad wurde ein Teil des Zimmers abgetrennt und es ist zum Zimmer hin offen.
Da die Lüftung gut funktioniert war das aber kein Problem.
Location was excellent for the Old Town.
The linen was looking like it needed replacing - sheets and towels.
