The Flag staff are great & the breakfast is wonderful with many options to choose from. Great shower too!

There was no air conditioning. With the window open and the fan going all day and all night, it was unbearably hot in the room and difficult to sleep.

Pros:

Das "The Flag" in Zürich war eine positive Überraschung. Der freundliche Check-In war auch bei etwas früherer Anreise problemlos möglich. Direkt vor dem Haus gibt es Parkplätze, die allerdings mit 25 Franken nicht günstig sind, aber öffentlich günstigere Parkplätze sind in der Ecke auch sehr rar.

Das Zimmer war wie ein Studentenapartment geschnitten mit einem Bett, zu dem man nur auf einer Seite aussteigen kann. Es war aber trotzdem sehr gemütlich. Die Isolierung zu den Nachbarzimmern und zur Straße war auch sehr gut.

Das Frühstück war gut und hatte alles Übliche im Angebot.

First Impression could’ve been better
Pros:

The property was conviently easy to access with public transport and washing facilities were handy

Cons:

Although reception staff were friendly they were not very informative.
When asking about places to eat nearby there was no mention of new shopping complex 5mins walk away.
Our first impression of room was very hot and stuffy with 2 very average fans supplied. We asked about opening windows and once unlocked this made a huge difference. It is noisy with windows open so at night this was a problem.

Pros:

Die Dame am Empfang hat mich sehr freundlich begrüßt und war extrem serviceorientiert und hilfsbereit. Das war wirklich ein schönes Ankommen!

Cons:

Das Zimmer mit Balkon war toll - leider ohne Klimaanlage.
