Excellent location, good clean hotels and view.

Cons:

We extended our stay for 2 more nights which makes it total 6 nights and requested to extend the checkout by just one hour and they said it will be USD 50 per hour. I mean what kind of behavior is this. We stayed for 6 nights and u cannot give us one extra hour. Whenever I have requested anywhere in the world they happily do it till 2pm. In South Korea they even did it till 6pm. That's the only thing we didn't like. And the lady at the reception was also kinda rude when we requested. Male staff members are really courteous and kind.

Pros:

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The location was perfect, right in the heart of New York, close to everything we wanted to see and do. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful view of the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and they made our stay even better. We truly enjoyed every moment and would definitely come back again.

Nightmare stay with AC not working during heat ways in NY July 2026
Pros:

Location close to Time Square

Cons:

This issue has been reported repeatedly to the hotel. Unfortunately:
• Hotel engineers have visited our room four separate times.
• On one of the visits, the engineer confirmed that the compressor was not operating, which explains why the room cannot cool down properly.
• Despite this technical confirmation, hotel management continues to insist that the air conditioning is functioning correctly, which is clearly inconsistent with the actual room temperature and the engineer’s findings.
• We requested to be moved to another room, but were informed that no alternative room was available.
As a result, we have spent a significant part of our stay waiting for maintenance visits instead of enjoying our vacation. More importantly, we have been unable to sleep comfortably due to the excessive heat in the room.
I have attached photographs clearly showing:
• The thermostat set to 18.5°C.
• The actual room temperature reading of 25.5–27.5°C despite this setting.
• The hotel’s own checkout information confirming this is the room in question.
This level of service is simply unacceptable for a five-star Hyatt property, especially considering the premium price we paid for our accommodation.
As a loyal Hyatt customer, I expected much higher standards of service, proactive problem resolution, and genuine concern for guest comfort. Instead, our concerns have effectively been dismissed while the problem remains unresolved.
