The bathroom very small it would of been better to just have a shower and toilet and left the bath out as it was very cramped.
Or better still a combined bath and shower

Le wifi ne fonctionnait pas, ce qui est bof pour un hôtel de cette catégorie et très bruyant. On aurait dit qu’il y’avait un mammouth au dessus de notre chambre, ça nous a réveillé plusieurs fois.

I am deeply disappointed with the management of Kyoto Century Hotel. During my stay, I entrusted my luggage to the front desk for their forwarding service. The suitcase was handed over in perfect condition, but it was delivered to its destination completely destroyed.
Instead of taking responsibility as the primary service provider, the hotel management—specifically Ms. Kiminami and the Assistant Director, Mr. Uchida—completely washed their hands of the situation. They hid behind internal policies, refused to handle the claim with their own third-party provider (Yamato Transport), and officially stated that they would block further communication regarding this matter.
Furthermore, they forced me to deal with a local delivery company that explicitly told me they do not provide international support once a tourist leaves Japan.
For a hotel that claims to offer premium hospitality, their customer service is an absolute disgrace. They do not protect their guests' property, and if their providers break your belongings, they will simply ignore you.
If you are an international traveler, beware: your luggage and your rights are not safe at this hotel. I will be escalating this formal complaint to the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) and Keihan Corporate Headquarters. Absolutely not recommended.

Great location, next to Kyoto Station. Many restaurants and shops within easy 5-15 minute walk. Very comfortable bed and fantastic breakfast buffet with good mix of Japanese and Western food.
We stayed 7 nights and missed not having clothes drawers. This was true in every other hotel we stayed at in Japan, but not such a factor with shorter stays.
Excellent location — close to the train, bus, restaurants, and shops, all within easy walking distance. The hotel is very clean, spacious, well‑equipped, and comfortable.
