Comfortable stay with spacious rooms
Pros:

Excellent front office staff...very courteous and accommodating... Check in/Check out was smooth.... Rooms were clean and spacious...The hotel was close to subway station which made travel to downtown a lot easier.

Cons:

The area at night seems a bit shady, so would advise against going out late alone.

The buffet breakfast could do with changes on a daily basis. We stayed for 4 days and it was exactly the same each day

Excellent brief stay in historic Opera House Hotel
Pros:

Very clean and comfortable room. Staff very helpful, friendly, and professional. Great historic building. Appreciated breakfast availability and 24/7 coffee!!

Très bel hôtel avec de belles prestations affichant un bon rapport qualité / prix.
Pros:

Chambres spacieuses et propres. Bonnes literies et bon petit déjeuner.
Métro proche, pratique pour visiter Manhattan.
Personnel sympathique.

Pros:

The hotel itself is quite nice. The rooms are spacious and well equipped- we got a king with balcony. And the breakfast facility is nice as well.

Cons:

The street where it is located isn’t the cleanest and there is evidence of a lot of drug use and displaced persons- despite a strong police presence with a nearby prescient. That being said- I never felt unsafe. But the street was dirty. Be careful using gps and simply searching for the hotel- you’ll get the back freight entrance. Use the address provided by the hotel itself.

Pros:

Os quartos são grandes e espaçosos, a limpeza boa, café da manhã basico mas bem servido e a facilidade para o acesso ao metro.

Cons:

A localização do hotel é horrível, ruas com acumulo de lixo e com dependentes químicos em todo quarteirão, desde da saida do hotel ate o acesso do metro.

Wonderful hotel and amazing value.
Pros:

This is an old but newly refurbished hotel with character, comfort, and cleanliness. Great place for a one night stay between landing at LGA and catching a train from Penn Station, via direct subway half a block from the hotel. And obviously amazing value for money.

Pros:

Les lits sont très confortables. Le personnel est TB.
Le petit déjeuner est très varié. Seule bémol, pas de salé mais je pense que ça fait partie des habitudes de NY.

Cons:

Le quartier. Même s’ils ne vous accostent pas, la présence de nombreux drogués entre la bouche de métro et l’hôtel était très impressionnante pour nos 2 ados.

Albergo tranquillo personale educato la struttura in sé ricca di storia in un quartiere sicuramente difficile ma carico di vita reale e intensa. Molto impatto emotivo all'esterno. Dell hotel . Potevo farmi un tè caldo a qualsiasi ora con qualche biscottino.

Cons:

Non si muore di fame , l'essenziale c'è. Avrei gradito qualche alimento da cuocere al momento come uova e bacon. Il latte liofilizzato non aveva un buon sapore.. i cuscini troppo alti ed avevano un odore di altre persone. Forse cambiare solo la federa non è sufficiente. Ho sopperito. prtandomi un cuscino da casa. . A colazione avrei gradito più varietà. Tipo Formaggi yogurt salumi e latte vero non liofilizzato. Tenete presente che sono italiana e per noi l'alimentazione è molto ricercata e di qualità..

Amazing hotel, great value, unsafe location.
Pros:

Very clean rooms/common areas and friendly staff. The hotel itself was really good - we liked everything except maybe for the breakfast having limited options.

Cons:

The hotel is very nice, but the location is not safe, especially if you are traveling with small kids. We saw substance abuse and aggressive folks right outside the hotel, and that was during daylight.
