Pros:

Das Personal vom Hotel war sehr zuvorkommend u sehr freundlich.
Ich hatte ein schönes großes Zimmer mit einem Balkon inkl einer schönen Aussicht.
Das Hotel liegt 5min vom Meer entfernt.
Das System, wenn man nicht jeden Tag sein Zimmer reinigen lässt und dafür ein Getränk bekommt, hat mir ganz gut gefallen.

Cons:

Das Frühstücksangebot beim Buffet hätte ich mir gern vielfältiger gewünscht.

Strand und Dünen von Bergen aan Zee sind eine Reise wert.
Pros:

Das Eckzimmer bot Aussicht zu zwei Seiten, war hell und freundlich eingerichtet. Das Personal hilfsbereit.
Das Frühstück war reichhaltig. Sogar mit frischen Erdbeeren. Die Lage ist sehr gut, nur 200 m zum Strand, und zu kleiner Parkanlage, nur 100m zum (einzig verbliebenen) kleinen Laden. Bushaltestelle vor dem Hotel. Sehr gut renoviertes Bad mit modernen Armaturen. Das Zimmer ließ sich sehr gut lüften. Sehr gut, dass man an Rezeption auch Dünen-Karten für den gesamten Reiseaufenthalt bekommt. (Dünen-Eingang etwa 300 m entfernt.) Eine Empfehlung verdient auch das abendliche 3-Gänge-Menü, eine edele Abwechslung zu Pommes, Pfannkuch und Pizza.

Cons:

Kleine Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten beim Frühstück: Kaffee könnte heißer sein, Frühstückseie und Rührei wärmer, Honig könnte erheblich besser sein. Butter in kleinen Plastikdöschen ist nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Die musikalische Untermalung mit Songs der 1970er-Jahre war in gefülltem Frühstücksraum eher ein Störgeräuch.
In unserem Zimmer war das Bad sehr klein (3 qm), das chicke kleine Waschbecken (30 cm Durchmesser) äußerst unpraktisch. Wie in anderen niederländischen Hotels gab es statt einem Schrank ein Regal. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt bietet es zuwenig Platz für 2 Personen.

Top location, but disappointing service and restaurant

Location is perfect, close to the beach. The view from the room is also top with a beautiful terrace.

Cons:

When we arrived there was nobody on the reception, so the waiter from the restaurant checked us in. The hotel is nice, but old so there is no lift. We had room at the highest floor so its a lot of stairs. You could see that the rooms are old with wall-to-wall carpet. The breakfast was average at best. The scrambled eggs were quite unpleasant, and the coffee from the urn was not good either. On the second day, there wasn’t even any coffee or cups available, so we had to drink coffee in our room instead, which came at an additional cost. We ate dinner there in the first evening, but the service was very slow and we waited long for everything.

Zoek je een betaalbaar top hotel aan het strand van Bergen aan zee? Dan moet je hier heen gaan!
Pros:

Zeer vriendelijk personeel, goed ontbijt. Kamer is gezellig en ruim (voor een eenpersoonskamer). Alles zeer schoon. Prijs/kwaliteit is echt super. Daarnaast is het hotel heel warm en sfeervol.

Cons:

Bed was een beetje te hard naar mijn smaak.
