Absolutely fabulous stay
Pros:

This hotel is excellent. Can’t believe what we got for the money. Very plush and nice hotel as you would expect at upscale casino. Very clean and well maintained. Room was fabulous. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Would’ve expected to pay twice as much. Highly recommend.

Bad Experience at the Casino!
Pros:

My review is of the casino, and not the hotel, just had a bad experience last Saturday on 6/27. I was playing a slot machine and when the machine hit a bonus, the machine froze up and would not give me my free spins. After several mins. someone finally came and tried to reboot the machine, then another tech. came and opened the machine and tried several things even switched out the button keys, and was very nice and apologetic. But then someone came around and was very rude and said you need to sign this and we will give you the money in the machine, we do not know when it will be fixed. Then I said, well the machine is in a bonus and I should get paid more and refused to sign. Then she said it might take a few days are you going to wait a few days. After that I asked to speak to a manager, after several mins., a manager came out and did not even talk to me or apologize for the situation, he just told the girl who was asking me to sign the paper and give me the money in the machine that there is nothing they can do and I need to take the money, and if the machine pays then they will call me. So, after about an hour of sitting there waiting for them to fix the machine, I finally agreed to take the money in the machine and left my name and number with the girl, but I still have not heard back. I also asked if I could get a comp on a drink, room, or food, and they basically laughed at me and said no way! It was just an overall bad customer experience and they seemed like they did not care, especially the manager who was worthless. Hope to get a call, and no idea what the bonus would have paid out and will probably never see my money!

Perfect Place to Explore St. Louis and surrounding areas
Pros:

Rooms were comfortable clean and quiet. Shower was amazing with amazing water pressure. Liked that the hotel is away from the casino traffic. We did have a slow draining sink, but mentioned it to hotel staff and was fixed right away.

Cons:

Wish there were more restaurants and open through the week. Area was a little deserted and industrial, but didn't have any issues on property. Would have liked to have a nice view of the river along the walking path and maybe some benches along the way to enjoy it.

very nice room with a patio, amazingly nice staff. clean nice smelling room, despite the hallway being kind of stinky. VERY clean bathroom and shower.

Five stars if not for the communication with hotel guests during an evacuation.
Pros:

Beautiful hotel/casino. Great staff. Great ventilation, no smoke smell in the hotel area. Restaurant area outside the casino were fabulous.

Cons:

No communication with the guest, when the hotel and casino was evacuated. I was staying at the hotel, they had my number but no information was given. My wife’s had medication that was to be taken, that was in our room. Thankfully not life or death meds.

Other than the gaming floor, most of the amenities were only available late in the week.
The desk staff was incredibly friendly, but understaffed. We waited over 20 min to check in with only 1 group being helped as we arrived.

Not the best for families
Pros:

No pool, no sauna, no arcade for kids. Rooms okay, nothing special, but may be charged "resort fee". Good variety of musical acts, comedians. Can't bring kids, luggage thru casino if you accidentally park far from hotel. Can't access 2 restaurants with children because no entrance to them except thru the casino.
