Placeringen var tæt på Interlaken West og lå ikke i alt turist-larmen og det lå stadig tæt på Interlaken Ost.

Very nice hotel at Interlaken. Close to everything but still away from all the noise and bustle. Staff was very helpful and flexible to our needs. We especially loved the open patio / balcony which came with one of our rooms. Our family spend a lot of time out there - lot of memories. The hotel has a lot of small memorabilia (old clocks etc.) which we found very interesting.

This is a true gem in Interlaken. About a 7 minute walk to Interlaken West Bahnhof and BLS Schiffs towards Thun, it’s located in a tranquil residential neighborhood with beautiful mountain scenery and breezes. This is a perfect location to head to any of the Bernese Oberland or even Jungfraujoch.

It’s also very close to several supermarkets, restaurants and shopping.

The hotel is tastefully appointed with comfortable leather armchairs and tables in two sitting rooms, one with a large screen tv and another with a bar (though I didn’t see it tended).

The restaurant serves a continental breakfast with something for all tastes and needs. Hardboiled and scrambled eggs, baked beans, sautéed mushrooms, bacon. Assorted breads and croissants, cereals, yogurt, oatmeal, jams and spreads, charcuterie and local cheeses, fresh fruit salad plus viennoiseries ensure a sufficient array of choice that one can never be bored.

The hotel is family run and every one you encounter is multilingual, super helpful and friendly.

The rooms are lovely with lots of shelves and cabinet space for clothes. The beds are very comfortable: not too firm or too soft and it’s the first time I actually liked the pillows in a hotel!

A surprise bonus was a coin operated washing machine and dryer.

The hotel lives up to its name. It truly was a peaceful place to rest during my week in Interlaken.

I will definitely stay here again.

Three of us (one couple plus one single) stayed for five nights. We had all stayed at the De la Paix before and had been happy to return. We left, feeling we had again made a good choice.
The hotel is on a quiet side street just a few minutes walk from Interlaken West railway station - very convenient for public transport and other parts of the town. Charlotte, who now runs this family business, gave us a warm welcome.
Our rooms were comfortable, clean and homely. There was a reasonable choice at breakfast, given the hotel's size, and the food was of good quality. There is something of an old-fashioned, individual feel to the De la Paix which is endearing and human when contrasted to some modern hotels.
All in all, comfortable, welcoming and extremely good value. We'd definitely return.

Pěkný malý hotýlek. Příjemný personál. Parkování u hotelu, i když pro omezený počet míst. Dobrá poloha - kousek do centra Interlakenu.

Beautifully furnished room with a delightful balcony that was a joy to sit on and admire the views. Perfect location, less than 10 mins walk to Interlaken West railway station and bus stops for many routes, including Wilderswil station. Many good restaurants in both West Interlaken and Unterseen within easy walking distance. The breakfasts were superb, with a mix of hot food (great scrambled eggs) and cold buffet. Fantastic friendly guy Salvatore in charge of breakfasts most days, and the owners (Herman and partner?) super-friendly and very helpful.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the breakfasts were very good. Perfect location close to Interlaken West station.
