Absolutely Amazing Stay
Pros:

I Liked The Location And the rooftop pool

Reasonable value for money.
Pros:

Room adequate for one person, a squeeze for two. Outlook (5th floor) was gloomy with not much daylight. Bed was fine, bathroom compact but functional. Water was barely warm enough in evening.

Cons:

Breakfast was decidely ordinary. No possibility of an omelette and scrambled eggs tasteless with too much filler. Poor selection of bread, and careless arrangement of limited selection of fresh fruit. Outdoor eating area is nice, if the food were better. If cost is a constraint, how about charging nominal prices for extras like personally cooked omelette! Should be easy these days with card tapping terminal.

Comfortable hotel in a great location.
Pros:

The hotel was in a great location - 5 minutes to the train station and close to Clarke Quay and Chinatown. The room was very comfortable and the staff friendly.

Cons:

The breakfast range was a little disappointing - the pastries did not seem very fresh.

Singapore is great
Pros:

The friendly helpful staff and the nearness to the Singapore River and a bus stop. China Town wasn't far away and the walk there took you through the real Singapore.

Cons:

Even though the room was very well presented it was a tight fit for the two us and our three bags.

Pros:

Schone kamer en ze hielpen je met alles, zelf toen ik om een kurkentrekker vroeg voor een fles wijn die ik in de winkel had gekocht die natuurlijk iets goedkoper was.

Cons:

Ze hadden geen barretje met drank bij het zwembad of een rook plekkie, dus moest steeds naar de lobby.

Schönes Hotel, aber mit Mängeln
Pros:

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber - wie das komplette Hotel. Frühstück war wider Erwarten auch recht gut. Viel los, aber man fand immer einen Platz.

Cons:

Die Zimmergröße ist eine Frechheit. Wir waren zu zweit mit zwei Einzelbetten. Ich konnte den 2. Koffer nirgendwohin stellen oder legen. So habe ich den Schreibtisch zurückgestellt und den Koffer unter den Schreibtisch geschoben. Ich war nicht mehr in der Lage um mein Bett herumzugehen. Natürlich weiß ich, dass die Zimmer Stadthotels nicht sehr groß sind. Dieses Zimmer war jedoch von der Größe her katastrophal - und das zu diesem Preis. Auch die Nähe zur MRT war entgegen den Angaben nicht so nah wie gedacht.

In particular, we want to give a five star eating for Ashlyn who checked us in on the morning of 27th June 2026. She was bright, extremely helpful, knowledgable and very polite. She had such a joyful demeanour and was willing yo go the extra mile to accommodate our requests.
