Ottima combinazione tra città e relax
Pros:

Struttura molto moderna e pulita. Prodotti di bellezza compresi (maschere viso e detergenti). Adattatore per presa a parete compreso. Servizi eccellenti.

Cons:

La colazione. Purtroppo è porzionata e qualsiasi aggiunta era a pagamento. Si nota un limite della cultura giapponese, che quando devono andare fuori dall’ordinario ti rispondono di no. Poco flessibili.

Pros:

Die zentrale Lage hat mir gefallen und auch, dass es sich um eine ruhige und sichere Gegend handelt.

Cons:

Die düstere Design.Der Designer hatte offenbar eine extreme Vorliebe für Schwarz und sehr, sehr dunkles Anthrazit. Dadurch wird auch in den Räumlichkeiten sehr viel Licht verschluckt, was z. B. das Lesen von Aufschriften erschwert.

Beautiful property
Pros:

The atmosphere of the property was beautiful, the staff were friendly and accommodating, the room was large. The restaurant was amazing!
Off the main roads and a bit of a distance from the train, but showed a different side to Kyoto

Cons:

The beds don’t seem to be movable, underneath the accumulation of dirt and hair was visible

Pros:

Spacious room with lots of amenities, they even had skincare. Largest room I’ve ever booked in Japan. The tatami mat area was nice to be able to sit and spread out your stuff. Staff were very helpful, luggage forwarding was available to send at reception. The hotel was very quiet and easy to relax in. We had the tou premium twin room. There was plenty of area to store your items and the bed was comfortable.

Cons:

Hotel was about a 12 min walk from the station. There was only one washing machine that worked and it was always being used, we ended up walking 3 mins down the block to a laundromat instead. Closest convenience store is about 8 mins walk from hotel. Pillows are quite firm and there is not really a place to hang your towel after using.

I feel the room was our favourite as it had a more traditional bed (mattress on tatami). This was on a slightly elevated
Pros:

Location is good, nice quiet neighbourhood. Facilities were great, very nice experience. Staff was exceptional. More traditional feel than other hotels we stayed in.

Cons:

Size of room was compact (from North American standards). All properties I stayed at in Japan were similar, just not what we’re used to.
This location is a little bit out of the way, so a bit of a walk to the train station and downtown areas. It was still walkable but not ‘right in the action’.

Pros:

Amazing design, location and onsen facilities. The staff is polite and the hotel is beautifully designed. The breakfast is also good and the lady running the restaurant is helpful and polite.

Loved it!
Pros:

Beautiful boutique hotel with a lovely restaurant and bar. The rooms are very small so with big suitcases it was difficult to move around but we made it possible. The spa was very nice and complementary kimonos were very comfortable.

Satisfactory but not fabulous.
Pros:

Location was an acceptable halfway point between station and the rest of Kyoto. It was clean and well appointed.

Cons:

So dark. Honestly; turn the lights on.
Bed - hard as a rock.
Pillows - also hard as rocks.
Room - had plenty of space if you took out the elevated tatami mat taking up the only available floor space, making it really difficult to move around the room. It just doesn’t have to be that big.
