Pros:

I've stayed here a few times and it is my preferred hotel in Yorkton. Location is great, it's easy to get to and it's conveniently close to several options for restaurants within walking distance.

Cons:

I don't like not having a coffee maker in the room. I realize that at worst, it's a minor inconvenience having to go to the lobby for a coffee or tea, but I just like having one. It's not a deal breaker though and It won't stop me from staying here again.

Clean, comfortable and accommodating
Pros:

The room was nice and clean. The hotel as a pool and hot tub plus they had guest laundry available. I really appreciated getting my clothes clean at an affordable price. They also took immediate, appropriate action when we let them know there was a small problem.

Most incompetent front end staff I have ever dealt with

There was cleaning residue on sink top in the bathroom
The woman who checked us in did our whole reservation wrong. Room was to be charged to the company I work for and to cancel my booking.com reservation. She said no problem she could do that so I wouldn’t be charged. She did not do this and charged my credit card. Never got a hold of me to tell me it couldn’t be done. I don’t know if it couldn’t be done or she just didn’t do it. Either way, worst customer service at a front desk ever.
Also on Saturday when I checked out there was no manager in the hotel until 3 pm. How do you run a business like this. Worst experience at a Holiday Inn ever.
Definitely would not recommend this hotel to anyone
