Excellent location
Room was quiet and had private en-suite
Disappointing lack of communication/information from staff.
Like the room, I felt out of the way and forgotten.
Location and relatively clean. Staff were friendly
Broken window in bathroom. Unable to open any windows in the bedroom on a very hot night so really didn’t sleep well. Finding the room on the night, main room was closed so had to walk around the building which is a bit of maze to try and find our room. No clear signs, just keep wandering around a boiling hotel until we found a route through.
Great location
Nothing
Beautiful building with comfortable bed and Lovely hosts

Fantastic grade 2 listed . Full of character and antique furniture. Paid £20 extra for the 4 poster bed, was like sleeping in the 1777 when it was built. Free parking and in the centre of town . Good drinks prices but didn’t have food,so can’t comment
Nothing it was as expected. You are getting a building full of creaking floors and banging doors. If you want sterile go to premier inn !
Central location close to shops and restaurants
Car park
Dirty bath panel
No hair dryer
No fan for use in hot weather
Very uncomfortable chair
Building is old but stair carpet should be changed
Separate room for family
Staff wasn’t great or helpful
Everything
Nothing
Location and decor
Nothing really
Breakfast decent but over priced at 15.00
Room was tiny, plaster falling off walls, paintwork very grubby.
Bed was about 1.5, barely double, couldn't walk down one side of it as up to wall, had to turn side ways to and shuffle to to get down other side.
Basically a broom cupboard for over a hundred quid a night.
My Ipad had a bigger screen than the TV. Not worth half of the cost.
Central location
Room not very clean, litter bin not emptied and no soap
Breakfast okay
Poor standard, carpet was thred bare with holes, pat testing dated 8 years ago. Cobwebs and dust everywhere, no heating. Fire doors wedged open. The place is a health and safety concern.. it’s like stepping back in time yet they are changing high rates. No Managment to be seen.
The staff were lovely and helpful
Parking is a nice bonus
Location is perfect for the racing or to be in town
The bed wasn't great, I didnt like the sheet and covers and the mattress was a little bumpy.
and the shower was very basic and not really powerful enough
Confy bed
There was a weird smell downstairs, maybe because the building is old
I arrived before check-in opened and the staff were very friendly and able to let me check in early. The location is very central and it's easy to get around from the hotel.
There was no body wash/shampoo in the bathroom. Also the hotel is reasonably close to a clocktower that rings out every 15 minutes (and doesn't stop at night). This is probably fine if it's not warm enough to need to sleep with the window open.
Parking, easy and accessible Close to alton towers, nearby town, friendly staff
Church clock chiming every half hour till vety late in the night and early Sunday morning
Good location
Property was dirty and shabby with worn carpets and strange smell throughout the building
