It was really disappointing overall.
Pros:

The room was clean

Cons:

Room was very hot with no effective air conditioning. Unloading and having to go off and park was a pain. Food was mediocre and some staff seemed bored and unenthusiastic.

Fabulous location for exploring the Cathedral and town, but Hotel overpriced.
Pros:

The receptionist was pleasant and arranged for the case to be delivered to the room. The bedroom was pleasantly decorated. The shower was good.

Cons:

The double bed was a suprise- would have expected a king size for the price.
Although they accommodated easting outside on a hot evening the menu and food was lack-lustre. The service slow and verging on offhand.
The breakfast was adequate but one butter pat per setting and none on the buffet table poor. The coffee cool, and the waitress seemed grumpy but not rude.

Pretty, stlish, central boutique hotel.
Pros:

Central location, stylish boutique style hotel. Had busy outside eating area but with the great double glazing we didn't hear a thing!

Cons:

Bathroom looked a little tired (sealant round shower door peeling away, cracked floor tile etc) but nothing a quick fix couldn't sort but it was spotless and did not effect stay. Please improve on your scrambled eggs - I was served a chopped up unseasoned omelette

A refreshing boutique stay in the heart of Ely!
Pros:

A delightful setting, with lovely rooms, scenic walled-garden, and an amazing location as it is next to the Cathedral and across from the high street. The copper bath was such a luxurious feature in the rather grand bathroom.

Cons:

The rooms could benefit from a fridge and the carpets looked a little tired. Its central location means you have to move your car elsewhere, but it makes sense based on the central location.

Prefect location, relaxation and quality all in one place
Pros:

Great location, relaxed atmosphere and lovely rooms. Really good that everywhere is accessible and they have a lift - often rare in historic buildings which are now hotels.

Cons:

Nothing, everything was lovely.

A lovely venue
Pros:

The hotel is beautiful. The staff we encountered were absolutely lovely and friendly. The food was amazing too. We will come back.

Cons:

We didn't quite understand why we couldn't order a cocktail when we arrived and were told that no cocktails are made for weddings. It was even more surprising when our friends turned up with cocktails after the ceremony. We were puzzled by the reason why the response varied and mainly why no cocktails, especially when there is such a great bar full of amazing choices.
