I reserved a room for my parents who don't speak any English or Turkish. They loved the hotel, the room and the staff. My father had a birthday during his stay in Istanbul, and staff of the hotel surprised him with a cake which made him sooo thankful, but he couldn't express himself due to language barrier. So here I just want to take the opportunity to thank the hotel staff for their friendly gesture. It meaned a lot to my father.
Thanks!
Another thing they told me was that the location of the hotel was perfect. This was maybe their 20th time visiting Istanbul (they love this city) and they said that this hotel had by far best location in town for a tourist.

De locatie beviel mij het meest. Het ontbijt was ook zeer goed en het bed comfortabel.

Cons:

De kamer was misschien een beetje te klein. Uiteindelijk hadden we ook een economy kamer geboekt.

Cons:

The room had a very unpleasant atmosphere, and I did not feel comfortable staying there. It was not as expected and did not match did not match the impression given by the photos in the listing. I also did not feel it offered good value for the money.

I ended up leaving after just one night and booked another hotel at my own expense. Despite paying a similar price, the new hotel was much better in terms of quality and was in a far better location near Galata Tower. Unfortunately, my experience at this property was disappointing, and I would not choose to stay here again.

Przyznaję 3 punkty: 1 punkt za ogólnodostępny taras widokowy, 1 punkt za dobrą lokalizację i 1 punkt „na zachętę”. Niestety na tym kończą się zalety tego miejsca.
Szczerze mówiąc, nie rozumiem, skąd biorą się tak wysokie oceny na Bookingu. Obiekt jest prezentowany jako hotel, jednak w rzeczywistości trudno go za taki uznać. Zdjęcia oraz opis zamieszczone w ofercie są mocno nieaktualne i nie odzwierciedlają faktycznego stanu miejsca.
Miałam wrażenie, że oczekiwania budowane przez ofertę są zupełnie inne niż to, co zastaje się na miejscu. Lokalizacja jest dobra, a taras widokowy faktycznie stanowi miły dodatek, jednak poza tym obiekt nie spełnił moich oczekiwań.
Nie zdecydowałabym się na ponowny pobyt i sugeruję przyszłym gościom dokładnie przeanalizować najnowsze opinie przed rezerwacją.

Plus za codzienne sprzatnie.

Przez wiele lat korzystam z Bookinga i jest to moja pierwsza tak negatywna opinia, co powinno najlepiej świadczyć o tym, że nie należę do osób przesadnie wymagających.
Już od momentu zameldowania goście są wystawiani na próbę. Zanim pokazano nam zarezerwowany pokój, zachęcano nas do dopłaty za pokój w wyższym standardzie. Nie zdecydowaliśmy się na to od razu i zostaliśmy zaprowadzeni do pokoju, który przekraczał wszelkie granice akceptowalnych warunków.
Pokój sprawiał wrażenie zalanego w przeszłości. W całym pomieszczeniu unosił się intensywny zapach wilgoci i stęchlizny. Łazienka była pokryta pleśnią, a panele podłogowe były spuchnięte od wody i najwyraźniej nigdy nie zostały wymienione. Nawet po otwarciu okien nie dało się pozbyć nieprzyjemnego zapachu. Pokój nie spełniał podstawowych standardów zdrowego i bezpiecznego pobytu.
Po zgłoszeniu problemu w recepcji otrzymaliśmy inny pokój. Trudno jednak mówić o realnym rozwiązaniu problemu. W nowym pokoju również wyczuwalna była wilgoć, a ślady pleśni nadal były obecne. Nie był to ani komfortowy, ani bezpieczny pobyt.
Kolejnym bardzo słabym punktem były śniadania. Dania utrzymywane w podgrzewaczach były zimne, wybór ograniczony, a kawa wyjątkowo niskiej jakości. Dodatkowo w części jadalnej panował nieporządek, który potęgował negatywne wrażenie.
Chcę podkreślić, że nie obwiniam personelu sprzątającego. Panie sprzątające były uprzejme i widać było, że wykonują swoją pracę z zaangażowaniem. Problem leży znacznie głębiej i wynika raczej z wieloletnich zaniedbań właścicielskich lub menedżerskich.
Przyznaję 3 punkty wyłącznie za lokalizację, ogólnodostępny taras widokowy oraz sam fakt, że obsługa próbowała reagować na zgłaszane uwagi. Niestety zdjęcia i opis obiektu są mocno nieaktualne i nie odzwierciedlają rzeczywistego stanu miejsca. Nie polecam.
