Great location and nice staff but we were kept awake by a party in the next door room.

Pros:

Good location in a beautiful neighbourhood, historic one. We travelled by bike and it was a nice stop. The breakfast was quite good too.

The bed (single) was not very comfortable. It was okay for one night, but not more.

A functional pleasant interlude on our long distance walk.
Pros:

Breakfast was fine for our purposes. Comfortable broom. It served its purpose as a bolt hole on the Northumberland Coast path.

Really liked Warkworth.

Cons:

Shower in hotel very poor, little water and achieving a temperature that didn't scald or freeze was a science.
Despite saying room service was between 10 and 12 if room was accessible and despite us being out before 10 and away all day, we didn't get the room serviced. We were not made to feel welcome either at reception, at breakfast or during any interaction with staff. The pub announced last orders at 9.30 and despite their being few drinkers there they couldn't wait to be shot of us all.

Cons:

Some of the staff at breakfast were very rushed and made us feel like we were an inconvenience

4 night Warkworth stay.
Pros:

Warkworth Castle is right across from hotel. Lovely bar next door to hotel wth nice beer garden and Castle views.
Good choice at breakfast, traditional english, eggs on toast, kippers, cereal etc.. staff were friendly and helpful, bus route to north and south locations if needed. Car park always good. Food was really good too.

Cons:

last orders at bar was 9.30pm except for England football game which was a little disappointing.Shelf not big enough in bathroom for toileteries really and managing shower temperature control a bit tricky also. Not much really to do if weather is bad which it was'nt for us. Would stay again though so nothing that can be off putting.
