Modest hotel in good location
Pros:

Good location, ideal for Art Basel, the trams/bus network, close to shopping etc. Reception staff very pleasant and helpful.

Cons:

The air conditioning unit (free standing) in our room was effective but too noisy to be left on overnight. We would not have been able to sleep! And it would have disturbed other guests. We just had to switch it on now and again during the night as it was in the 30s.

ich hatte hp gebucht,an der gaststätte stand ganzen tag warme küche aber ich mußte 30 minuten warten weil ich hp gebucht hatte,jeder kann den ganzen tag warm essen ich mußte warten,verstehe ich nicht

Pros:

Très bel hôtel et d'une très grande propreté. Le personnel est très avenant. Grande terrasse et très grande chambre, tout était confortable.
A 20 mn du centre ville à pied, parfait

Cons:

Prévoyez de réserver une place de parking car sinon très difficile de se garer

Cons:

Had to wait 25min at the reception at 10 pm for check-in. Some friendly staff member at least opened the door for me so I did not need to wait outside. But he had to call some guys from the hotel next door to do the check-in and those guys let me wait for 20 more minutes. Unacceptable. Room, breakfast and location otherwise perfect.

very nice hotel but I would change the room if I come back
Pros:

Large room with balcony, excellent breakfast, perfect location in the center of Basel, near many tramway stations and the tramways are free with a card given by the hotel.
And Basel is a beautiful town.

Cons:

noisy room with some kind of machinery above us
