Location is excellent. Walking distance to all the shops downtown. Excellent walking on the paths by the beach as another way to walk to town. The parking very good and room was good size.
Unfortunately the gas fireplace didn’t work and I specifically booked that room because of that feature. But the heater worked well and we were only there 2 nights. Also lukewarm shower water and not enough towels or toilet paper but easy to ask for more as staff were around .
It was located in a great location being close to the city as well as beach.
The room was small, but did not spend much time in there. It would be nice to have breakfast like in years past.

It would have been nice to have blackout curtains of some sort . The sunlight snuck in early and the front door shade didn’t fully cover the window.
Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. A small, cute, boutique inn with a nostalgic charm. The room, while on the small side, was comfortable with great black out curtains and nice bed. The lobby has plush chairs and a couch, and a fireplace. A great spot to unwind. The location is perfect- short walk to the beach and less than a mile to the shops and restaurants. Free on site parking is a bonus. The staff, especially Jlyn, were outstanding- kind and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again.
Wonderful experience from start to finish, the staff are absolutely the best! The location is perfect, so close to the beach, the rooms were clean and comfortable (I inquired about the bed brand it was so good), walking distance easily for anyone to downtown, and numerous restaurants and shops right around the hotel.
Our experience was amazing thanks to Jlyn at the front desk. We orignally selected a room that when we actually saw it, was not going to work for us. Jlyn was empathetic, fabulous listener and able to move us into a room that would work. She is a gem! Staff were all excellent, the accomodations comfortable and we will stay again! The Lucas Family
Nice location. We liked the sunny area for relaxing away from the beach. 24 hr coffee which is nice.
Desk staff was not there when we showed up. We had to wait an hour to check in. Not cool for this $$$.
Great location. Boutique hotel so fewer rooms. Loved my room especially the claw foot tub.
No elevator and I was on the second floor.

The location of McBee cottages was perfect for our first visit with doggy to Cannon Beach. Dog friendly amenities were great.
I had not realized when I booked that I was booking a “cozy queen” room. With 2 adults and a 45 lb dog it was a tight fit. Just one bed, tiny nightstand on one side and very small bathroom. We made it work though.
Gorgeous place, the style of the place was beautifully vintage so they clearly take great pride in being a historic hotel. The front desk was incredibly kind and explained quite a few things to me with zero issues. It was my first time ever fully booking and checking in to a hotel on my own, and they made it a wonderful experience. The location within town is also perfect! Great proximity to both the beach and downtown.
