Tiny room and shower. Old. Yeah, they position themselves as historical hotel, but still old :)

I loved the cottages. Classic queen very small but we had the Standard queen and was great!
Pros:

Location is excellent. Walking distance to all the shops downtown. Excellent walking on the paths by the beach as another way to walk to town. The parking very good and room was good size.

Cons:

Unfortunately the gas fireplace didn’t work and I specifically booked that room because of that feature. But the heater worked well and we were only there 2 nights. Also lukewarm shower water and not enough towels or toilet paper but easy to ask for more as staff were around .

Great time at Cannon beach! Love the get away!
Pros:

It was located in a great location being close to the city as well as beach.

Cons:

The room was small, but did not spend much time in there. It would be nice to have breakfast like in years past.

It was a great place over all . Wife absolutely loved it . Great value in comparison to other options in the vicinity. .
Pros:

Private entrance . Cozy room with everything you need . Extremely close proximity to the beach. Fireplace would have been wonderful were it a colder season .

Cons:

It would have been nice to have blackout curtains of some sort . The sunlight snuck in early and the front door shade didn’t fully cover the window.

Great hotel in a great location
Pros:

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. A small, cute, boutique inn with a nostalgic charm. The room, while on the small side, was comfortable with great black out curtains and nice bed. The lobby has plush chairs and a couch, and a fireplace. A great spot to unwind. The location is perfect- short walk to the beach and less than a mile to the shops and restaurants. Free on site parking is a bonus. The staff, especially Jlyn, were outstanding- kind and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again.

Charming Hotel in the perfect location
Pros:

Wonderful experience from start to finish, the staff are absolutely the best! The location is perfect, so close to the beach, the rooms were clean and comfortable (I inquired about the bed brand it was so good), walking distance easily for anyone to downtown, and numerous restaurants and shops right around the hotel.

Fantastic staff and accomodations!
Pros:

Our experience was amazing thanks to Jlyn at the front desk. We orignally selected a room that when we actually saw it, was not going to work for us. Jlyn was empathetic, fabulous listener and able to move us into a room that would work. She is a gem! Staff were all excellent, the accomodations comfortable and we will stay again! The Lucas Family

Pros:

Nice location. We liked the sunny area for relaxing away from the beach. 24 hr coffee which is nice.

Cons:

Desk staff was not there when we showed up. We had to wait an hour to check in. Not cool for this $$$.

Lovely property and close to everything.
Pros:

Great location. Boutique hotel so fewer rooms. Loved my room especially the claw foot tub.

Cons:

No elevator and I was on the second floor.
