Great nature and great people
Pros:

The staff are friendly, breakfast is cozy, location in the mid of the forest.

Cons:

In booking.com they are titling the Japanese House as apartment which miss leaded me while booking

Nice experience in Furnas
Pros:

Super restaurant et chambre spacieuse avec cuisine salle de bain et terrasse avec une vue sur la nature
Piscine sympa également

Un peu trop cher car même si tout est bien ce n’est pas non plus luxe

Pros:

Un hôtel niché dans un parc de toute beauté au bord du lac Furnas. Le personnel était avenant et disponible (en particulier Carmen), la propreté des lieux, la qualité du buffet.

Cons:

Une mauvaise expérience avec une jeune dame du restaurant qui a refusé de me servir alors que je ne me sentais pas bien. C'est donc Carmen qui a pris les choses en main et m'a gentiment servi, aidé.

Es war alles unglaublich schön und sauber. Die Lage ist einmalig und die Umgebung wunderschön. Frühstück war genial und Personal freundlich.

Wundervolle Location mit sehr leckerem Frühstück
Pros:

Besonders toll fanden wir die Lage der Location: Mitten im Grünen und sehr ruhig und doch nicht weit vom Stadtzentrum von Furnas entfernt. Die Einrichtung des Appartements ist sehr gut durchdacht und die Küche mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Das Frühstücksbuffet wurde jeden Tag sehr liebevoll mit leckeren Köstlichkeiten arrangiert. Das haben wir sehr genossen.

Beautiful Location, Beautiful Property, Needs More to Justify Price
Pros:

The location and the property are beautiful! The grounds are gorgeous and it is secluded and yet everything is accessible if you have a car.

Cons:

We were in one of the new rooms, but it had a very chemical smell from the floor- since it was recently finished. It was not quite ready to host guests. The room was nice but it was very simple and basic with no frills. Breakfast was not included and the price was on the higher side of what competitors offered with the breakfast included. I had stayed at Octant Furnas in the past and thought that was a better value for the price.

Superbe endroit pour découvrir la région, on peut même faire une partie à pied.
Pros:

Le cadre superbe, les logements spacieux

Cons:

Le petit déjeuner non inclus, c’est décevant par rapport au prix de la chambre (même si on savait et que ce n’était pas une surprise)

Exceptionally lovely, peaceful and with outstanding food.
Pros:

The property, the room, design and decor, dinner was really excellent!! Loved the goats and hydrangeas and staff as well!!

A heated pool and spa which I know is coming soon

Amazing location, very good food, Nice stuff. However they tend to turn off aircon when you are not in the room :)

Poor value for money

Cons:

As soon as we arrived, we felt quite pressured to decide whether we would have dinner. We were asked to choose in advance both the exact time and what we wanted to eat. The same happened with breakfast—we had to specify the exact time we would go, which made it difficult to relax and enjoy the experience freely.

Regarding the room, we were offered an “upgrade,” but we were placed in the first bungalow next to the reception, with zero privacy since there were no curtains in the living room.

As for the amenities, the bungalow felt quite outdated, especially the bathroom, which was rather old.

The breakfast price was excessive—€20 per person—when in most hotels it is already included. Dinner was also very expensive, and on top of that, we were asked to leave a tip of 10%, 15%, or 20%.

Overall, there are many hotels with a much better value for money. This was a disappointing experience.
