The swimming pool is free between 08:00 and 09:30 (bathing suit mandatory). Outside these hours the swimming pool is only open to wellness users for an additional cost. The entire wellness center, including the swimming pool, is a bathing suit free recreation area.
Please note that guests of 16-18 years of age are only allowed to the wellness center under supervision of an adult.

Prijs veel te duur voor 2 nachten en de bijkomende koste toeriste belasting pakeren en de sauna betalen als gast ik was bijna 600 euro los voor 2 nachten
The food at dinner time in the restaurant was good, the service from dinner staff was excellent. Especially the gentleman who ushered us to our table, he was really friendly to my kids.
The amenities in the room were basic and not as clean as I had hoped.

Awkward. Reception 22 th floor. To get to room on 11 th floor have to go to 10th floor and then walk length if building to get a lift to 11th floor room!
Pool access only 8-9:30am. Do could only be used on weekends as business days start at 8am. The pool itself was good for resistance exercise and view. It is part of a wellness centre. However why not allow use from 6 am for those on business ie will be finished at 7 to go to meetings!!??
Bike hire could be greatly improved at almost no cost ie bike maintenance: I) ensure tire pressure is normal - not almost flat such that every speed bump a jolt. Ii) the battery is fully charged before hiring it out eg only got to Deb Haag 15km and battery flat! The rear tyre I had to get pumped up in Deb Haag. The rest of the journey along coast and back to Leiden - the battery flat and an unwelcome load.
We booked the Fletcher Wellness Hotel Leiden based on location and their spa. It is located beside the train station. We proceeded to the 12 floor reception and we were given our room assignment. As we exited the 9th floor elevator, we notice a large area where physio therapy was being done, followed by a meeting room, followed by an assortment of walkers, wheelchairs and scooters outside our room. We entered our room through the 4 foot door. The bathroom was designed for people with mobility issues. We looked for the mini fridge to put our water and snacks in only to find out, the room did not have a mini fridge. Nor did the room have temperature control. The air conditioning was not on and the room was quite stagnant. I approached the reception to question the use of this hotel (which I believe was on floors 9-12). This "hotel" felt like a hospital/convalescent recovery centre. People were being transported around by wheelchairs. The pool/spa is "Nude swimming" after 9:30pm. We paid a lot of money for this "hotel". Upon re-entry later in the evening, we were not able to get into the "hotel" by scanning our room cards. Nor were other guests able to open the door by scanning their cards. We waited until someone left the building to gain entry. I have written to the manager and over a week has passed without a response. AVOID this hotel at all cost. There are other hotels nearby where you can stay without being in a hospital environment.
