Para dormir una noche bien situado

Cons:

Al no poder entrar en la habitación hasta las 15h por norma del hotel, no te dejan dejar las molestas si llegas antes, hay que pagar para dejarlas en un locker que para el tamaño de nuestro equipaje eran pequeños los casilleros y no cabían, por lo que tuvimos que quedarnos desde las 10:30 h (ya que nuestro vuelo llegaba temprano) hasta las tres de mediodía esperando en el hall. El desayuno caro y muy pobre , mejor desayunar fuera.

I made a mistake with a double booking, which is very stupid of me. What surprised me was not the policy itself, but the complete lack of willingness to help or show any understanding. There was no clear communication beforehand and in the hotel, the response was simply that “we don’t live in a humane world.” I found this both unprofessional and unnecessarily unfriendly.

The stay itself did not improve my impression. The room had a persistent smell, similar to an unclear baking or cooking odour, which was noticeable 24/7. In addition, the room was very noisy.

I understand that hotels have rules and policies, but hospitality is also about how you treat guests when things don’t go according to plan. A little empathy, flexibility, or a small gesture of goodwill would have gone a long way.

It would be nice if the hotel focused not only on enforcing policies but also on being helpful and accommodating when guests encounter genuine issues.
