This time last week we were heading to the Ivanhoe hotel . We had been looking forward to this stay & the Ivanhoe & it's staff lived up to our expectations. A lovely ensuite room with a pleasant view of some nice plants . Plenty of storage & lovely lighting in our room with a very comfortable bed. Tea/coffee & hot chocolate making facilities with a lovely treat of ginger nut biscuits. We had booked dinner that night in the restaurant. It was busy there & the staff were welcoming efficient & the food was delicious. Next morning breakfast was equally tasty & service good. There was a buffet for cereal, fruit, toast & the only think I didn't like was the flasks for tea & coffee. But the staff made us fresh pot of tea so all was lovely!
We would like to thank & compliment the reception staff on Friday night & the lady on Saturday & Sunday they were so friendly, welcoming & helpful . A pleasure to meet.
The sinage is not very clear & gives rise to problems entering & exiting as there is a very fast traffic lanes outside. Didn't like fladks for breakfast!
I was so pleasantly surprised with a beautiful large clean room. The staff were so pleasant, particularly the lady that checked me in. Such great value for money too thank you for making my stay so enjoyable. I will definitely be back.

Large room. Comfortable, clean & decorated well. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking.
Breakfast was good. Tea/coffee was self service from flasks. Water was luke warm. Had to make tea in room after. It does take much to make fresh hot drinks for people and should be standard.
Private wedding was on. Music was very loud, but thankfully finished at midnight.
The location is convenient for travel where you don't necessarily want to be in Belfast, but it's quick enough to get in there if you require. The whole hotel seems to have recently been refurbished, and most areas are looking nice and fresh. The restaurant is still in the process of completion, but it was functional, and the food was really good, with a varied menu. It was good value for money. The staff were polite and helpful.
The room we were placed in second time round was lovely, spacious and modernised.
The room we were allocated at first did not match my expectations of the room I booked. It was a wheelchair accessible room ( which I did not book) and it was right next to a very loud air conditioner unit ( I think) which vibrated through the whole room. When I went to complain about this, they very quickly rectified it, and placed us in a lovely room which matched the picture of what we had booked.
I was also disappointed that my room did not include breakfast, where as the couple who were with us, had it included. The difference was they had booked direct with the hotel. This added a fair bit to our overall price. This was my fault, and next time I will check both methods of booking.
