THIS is exactly what I was looking for.
The TV set was not working great...anyway I was not in Hanoi to watch TV.

Fabulous location near the lake, close to shops, restaurants , spas. Room was comfortable.The staff were always friendly, welcoming, helpful, opened the front door for us as we left and entered.
When we left the road was closed to cars due to a marathon nearby, and the manager himself pushed our suitcases on a trolley around the corner to meet our taxi. He contacted our driver and waited with us to ensure all went smoothly.
We were very impressed!
The gym is incredibly hot, we couldn't use it.
Also suggest they purchase a larger, or a 2nd coffee machine. It was always running out of water or beans, and people waiting, at breakfast.

Room size is very small and room furniture is old
The location is excellent, with Hoan Kiem Lake, the Night Market, St. Joseph's Cathedral, shopping streets, and many popular attractions all within walking distance. There are plenty of restaurants, cafés, and local food options nearby, making it very convenient to explore Hanoi without relying much on transport.
On the downside, the bathroom could be improved, as showering in the bathtub was not very comfortable. The breakfast menu offered limited variety and was almost the same every day. In addition, the breakfast area became quite crowded during peak hours, which made the dining experience less enjoyable.
The staff were very helpful when given a query regarding where local content was needed to find a store or engage in an activity. They were able to quickly arrange a vietnamese cooking class for my wife and I without hesitation.
As our stay was for 7 days we found the breakfasts very limited having the same selection to choose from day in day out. Food that should have been hot like bacon, sausage etc was cold, not even warm. Many breakfast staples were not available at all.
Perfect oasis in Hanoi. We stayed there twice during our visit to Vietnam.
