Good value five star hotel but standards of service have slipped.
Pros:

Lovely room. Good value for a luxury hotel.

Cons:

Standards of service and facilities have deteriorated a bit since we stayed several years ago. Breakfast was not available in the Club Lounge and was rather chaotic in the main restaurant.

Everything was incredible! The property felt so grand and luxurious, yet the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The staff were exceptionally friendly and genuinely went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. This was especially appreciated as it was our first time arriving in China, which can feel a little daunting at first. Their kindness and attentiveness made such a wonderful first impression and really helped us settle in. We couldn’t have asked for a better welcome!

Cons:

I honestly can say there was anything we didn’t like, but if I had to pick something, the rooftop bar was closed on the evening we wanted to visit. We tried ordering drinks at the restaurant downstairs instead, but the only option available was wine, and even our first choice wasn’t available, so there was a little back and forth. Nothing major at all, though! We’d just been looking forward to relaxing in the lounge with a fruity cocktail. 🍹

A perfect stay with fantastic staff
Pros:

Very convenient, very clean very posh. The staff were absolutely amazing because I had a business meeting to attend to on the first day that I arrived and they went 100% to help me., they’re coming into the bedroom and set a router. First class service.

Cons:

Not a single thing. It was perfect.

A great hotel in a great spot in Beijing
Pros:

Friendly and helpful staff, excellent location in Beijing. The breakfast buffet was filled with a variety of delicious options. The biggest hotel room we have ever stayed in !

Cons:

In-house wifi did not work, however this was the case in all hotels we stayed in both Beijing and Shanghai, so perhaps not a hotel issue more network.

Pros:

Tutto perfetto, personale gentilissimo, camere bellissime, colazione al top con immenso assortimento di dolce e salato, cena a buffet altrettanto sensazionale, posizione ottima, ecc. ecc ! Ci siamo sentiti a casa, anzi qualcosa in più!

Relaxed luxury close to the temple of heaven.
Pros:

Relaxed and friendly staff in a luxury setting. Great gym, sauna and pool.
Guests were welcomed to takeaway boxes and coffees after or instead of breakfast.
The concierge was patient and helpful.

Cons:

The meet and greet service was expensive.

Excellent service, beautiful, clean and convenient!
Pros:

The rooms were beautiful and clean. The lighting and air conditioning was convenient and quiet. The pillows were great. The restaurant had many choices and great desserts. The service at the hotel desk was excellent!

Cons:

The bed was a bit too firm for me.
