Cons:

The hotel room was dirty and smelled strange. It was unorganised with mismatched furniture and needed a good scrub. The cups were still dirty and the thin sheets revealed the stained mattress.
Some of the staff were walking around barefoot and sockless. Getting a refund is proving difficult. We did not stay the night!

Great hosts, decent value, bit dated but good enough - not as bad as some of the other reviews IMO
Pros:

Rifadh was a brilliant host, couldn't fault him at all – did everything he could to make our stay pleasurable – thank you so much! The room was spacious and perfect for what we needed. The new sports bar area was great and the team were very accommodating for us wanting to stay up to watch the World Cup late matches. Ample parking and close to amenities. We chose this hotel for it's location to where we needed to be for an event, and were all pleasantly surprised after reading some of the reviews. Although I have only given a 7 'Good' because there is room for improvement, it was clear to see Rifadh and his team are making progress. I would mark up to 7.5 if this was an option. We would definitely stay here again for future events in the area.

Cons:

We had to ask for towels and toilet roll but there were provided swiftly. It's a bit dated which made it look like it needed a good scrub, but actually it was clean enough and probably just needs a refresh of decoration. Floor in the gym loos was a bit slippy, felt like excess cleaning product and maybe needs hotter water when mopping. Bed wasn't the comfiest, again think this is just how dated it is – we managed with it.

It served a purpose for the night.
Pros:

Convivence of room for an event we were attending as nothing more local was available. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Did not use any other facilities so cannot comment.

Cons:

Room was not very clean old lighter found on floor from previous guest. Bedding and towels clean and fresh rooms overall need a deep clean also proper door numbers not just stuck on with a piece of paper. The actual quilts are lumpy and need replacing.

Pros:

Location was the main reason for booking. Hotel is basic and clean. Person on reception was nice and friendly.

Cons:

No hair-dryer in the room. Had to request 2nd towel as only 1 provided. The receptionist was quick to assist, though.

Despite asking for ground floor on booking staff initially offered a room requiring use of stairs on arrival
Broken toilet seat in bathroom.
TV without remote control and no ariel connection.
No warning from staff that hotel carpark was private resulting in two fines for £100 each when returned home
