This place is a gem. We spent only 2 nights here but would have loved to stay longer. The hotel is located on a quiet small hill next to the Valley of the Temples. You can see the temples from a distance when you're having your breakfast and from your room. We took the room with the pool in August and having that pool available in the heat, and even for warm night was just beautiful. Swimming and seeing the temples from a distance with the hotels' vineyards in between is an absolute stunning view. The room is spacious and ver well equipped even for having 2 young kids with us. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating anytime of the day. The room are very clean, and staff clean it twice daily. If we could live in this hotel, we would. If we ever come back to Sicily, this will be on the top of our list of places to return to. Thank you.
Can't praise this hotel enough. The service is 5 star all the way. The grounds are just absolutely gorgeous. Everywhere you look are citrus trees, pomegranate tree, olive trees, rosemary and flowers, flowers, flowers, all set on a hill overlooking a desert like valley with the Valley of the Temples standing over it, and the ocean in the distance. The views are incredible both day and night. There is an outdoor pool with bar and a restaurant, which we enjoyed. The hotel is very eco friendly getting 95% of their electricity from their own solar field and growing a lot of the food they serve. This is a truly special place.
Our room had an amazing view through the floor to ceiling French door, and a totally covered indoor pool, with enough doors and windows to open to make it feel outdoor. The private in-room pool was cleaner than clean and had constant water cycling through it as water spills over the front Infinity style. Given how hot it was in Agrigento, the in-room pool was awesome for a late night swim after dinner. Otherwise, the room is all white, very modern and simplistic.
If you are visiting Sicily, don't miss out on spending a night in Agrigento so you can visit the ancient sites, have a great meal in the very nice town, and enjoy a stay at this unique hotel. As an added bonus, this hotel was priced way under what they could be charging, coming in at 1/3 of what we spent on other hotels in Sicily.

This boutique hotel was top notch. Clean & spacious guest rooms; updated and new amenities; delicious restaurant; friendly & dedicated staff (GianMarco, Fabianna and Patrizia). The breakfast crew was extremely attentive and the views of the historic Temples were stunning. We’d definitely go back again!

Il Doric Boutique Hotel è un resort meraviglioso, una di quelle gemme che raramente si incontrano nel Belpaese. Tutto è stato semplicemente perfetto: dalla calorosa accoglienza alla professionalità dello staff, fino alla camera incantevole con piscina privata riscaldata. Pulizia impeccabile e una vista mozzafiato sul Tempio di Giunone che da sola vale il soggiorno. Un'esperienza indimenticabile.

Doric hotel was fabulous. The views are amazing, we felt so lucky to have the temple to see at night, the rooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean, the restaurant is top notch, great service fantastic cooking and excellent ingredients. The staff were all so lovely.
