Doric is a slice of paradise. Enzo and Sylvia the owners who have created a special place. It ihas all the modern conveniences, yet maintains and respects nature and the authenticity of Agrigento.
It is perched on a hill overlooking the valley of the temples. The staff are all there to please and truly happy and friendly. It is clear they love what they do.
They grow just about everything on site including pomegranate, figs, lemons, olives, grapes, pistachios, and herbs.
Enzo is an architect who designed everything and his stamp is every where.
It is centrally located by Agrigento and the archeological site across the road.
We went to the beach at San Leone just near the Scala dei Turchi which is less than 15 minutes away and had an amazing day by the sea.
A place and experience not to miss.

Wow, simply amazing! Absolutely out of this world. Never been to anything like it before in Sicily. The attention to detail, the atmosphere, the gardens, the facilities and on top of all, the staff, were all amazing. The place is impeccably maintained and their selection of rooms is fantastic, with a good selection of rooms with private pool facities, that can also be heated for the winter. It's an eco resort, so functions on sustainability. They have a massive selection of their own produce offered at the amazing breakfast, as well as through their 5 star restaurant, including their own beer and olive oil. I have absolutely nothing to flaw. I will be back.

We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. From the moment you arrive the staff treats you like family. Everything about the property is thought through, easy to access and beautiful. The management goes above and beyond - Fabiana was wonderful as was everyone else. The food at Ambrosia is divine. The pool is over the top with the swim up bar and the bartender is amazing. All of this plus spectacular views of the Temple. I broke my leg after we had booked the trip and they did so much to make our stay easy for me, including procuring me a wheelchair for Il Risviglio de Dei. We did not even tell them it was my birthday, and there was a birthday surprise at breakfast and they decorated our room. Breakfast was spectacular every morning as we were greeted by Sabina and Alberto and the food was delicious. This was a stay we will never forget and we can’t wait to return. Next time I’ll be walking so I’m visiting the spa! The only thing you will regret about staying here is that you have to leave. ❤️🏛️❤️

Petit déjeuner exceptionnel et personnel au top.
Chambre trop petite, austère et mal équipée. Très peu de rangements, très peu d’endroits ou poser les trousses de toilettes, pas de penderie longue.
Breakfast was excellent. Staff were very friendly and room and view were excellent.
Everything was excellent stylish and tastefully decorated.
