Pros:

The hotel has improved since its new owners have taken over. The offer of cooked breakfast was a huge improvement from last years continental breakfast.
The food has improved and a new Bistro menu was well received. The staff are incredibly hard working and very engaging. The overall ambience is relaxed and friendly and im sure there will be more improvements for guest to enjoy as the new owners settle in.

Cons:

Nothing I didnt like as this is a growing business with huge potential for the future

Such a lovely welcoming place. We will be back again.
Pros:

A characterful hotel that has been mainly refurbished while keeping the charm and comfort of a traditional Scottish hotel. The staff were very pleasant and made everyone feel special. Food was also excellent as was our room with a 4 poster bed.

Cons:

Nothing but a few corridor carpets were rather tired but presumably about to be replaced.

Lovely stay
Pros:

Hotel has recently been taken over by new owners, redecorating has been done and meal areas changed, there is a new bistro and an A is Carte restaurant. Good early breakfast times for people who need to leave early midweek. Staff very attentive, lovely and clean rooms.
The new decor really brightens the hotel up.
Will definitely return

Lovely building, bar, rooms and staff.
Pros:

Lovely building and facilities

Cons:

Nothing much. However have stayed there before and the breakfast was amazing, but since changing hands the breakfast was not as good. Overcooked bacon and, I suspect a “catering pack” sausage. Otherwise breakfast was good.

Friendly and helpful staff situated in a beautiful village.
Pros:

Food and restaurant was good.

Cons:

My room was in need of upgrade to modern standards. However the new owners Im sure will improve the standard upstairs to that of downstairs . They are enthusiastic and very hospitable.
