Could not recommend this enough. We stayed for a nearby wedding. Arrived around 10pm easy check in and the bar was open for a drink. Breakfast was fantastic plenty of choice both hot and cold. Very sweet village and very friendly staff.
Hotel is very charming

Good value for money, exceptional food. Good old fashioned friendly professional approach to looking after the guests 11/10 to the staff. Spotlessly clean.
Although the beds are comfy I’d forfeit some floor space for a slightly bigger bed.
Breakfast was nice, although it would have been nice to have had some music playing. The bed was comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The light in the bathroom was motion sensitive and seemed to be extremely sensitive. It would have been better to have had a light switch.
Great breakfast - warm toast on a toast rack! Excellent butter. The large field mushroom, cooked perfectly. Attentive service. Great lounge area to relax in, with games. Comfy beds, nice view from room of fruit orchard and garden.
Could have provided plant milk such as soya or oat at breakfast - that would have been the only improvement to breakfast. Couldn’t have improved the service. The main issues with the room were the bedside lamps and the shower. One could not plug in (just there for show). Other flickered and had to turn it off. Shower was impossible to get right - scalding hot mixer or freezing cold, with very little water coming out. I wasn’t able to wash my hair. Poor water pressure to room. Needs a separate shower unit. Found a contact lens case on the bathroom floor - not ours. Other than that, bathroom very clean.
Every thing the room was fabulous large bed the staff were excellent nothing to much trouble for them the restaurant food was 5 star as was the breakfast highest recommendation for a stay

Niets
De website spreekt over dinner maar die was niet aanwezig, geen kok. Wij hadden zogezegd pech. Er zou soon een kok komen maar ze hebben niet gezegd in welk jaar. Ik heb de keuken gezien en die was niet meer in gebruik sinds corona. Wij bestelden een ontbijt, dat was niet in de prijs inbegrepen, logisch want dat wisten we bij voorbaat. Het was een continental ontbijt zelfs geen ei konden we krijgen. De koffie bij het ontbijt werd gemaakt met een bokaal oploskoffie.
