The O.A.K. Restaurant Darwin is now open for lunch from 12pm to 2pm and Happy Hour from 4pm to 6pm.
The construction opposite of reception is completed however a new building is under construction opposite blue water square (across the road opposite 08 and 04 room types)Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Good location, cleanliness, comfort. Modest buffet breakfast with scrambled eggs, melon, cereal, yogurt. Upgraded to a splendid corner room with kitchenette and grand views.
You offered no clean towel in 5 day and only 1 towel each. place was not very clean

AC units would not start after switching off as room was cool enough during the night.
Possibly both remotes batteries were flat.
Lifts were a bit crowded at times.
Probably could have a few more hot choices for breakfast. Sadly no bacon, tomato or mushrooms.

The staff were amazing. Location amazing. I love staying here, always my first chioce.
I think if staying for extended time like we did, it would have been nice for the room to be made up dialy as an inclusion and not an extra cost. I also think a complimentry breakfast could have been provided for length of stay. Only other thing that dispionted was the state of the outdoor tables as they were so far damaged by cigarette burns, it took the special feeling out of the unit.
Breakfast was OK.
The TV entertainment was OK.
The bed was comfortable.
The view was good over Francis Beach.
There was an Ant infestation in my room.
Also the air conditionaing in my room was limited to a minimum of 22 degrees celsius.
It could not be made cooler.
The building seems to be a typical Chinese tofu-dreg building.
There were clear issues of "fixes" to the finish on the building.
I hope Darwin does not get an earthquake.
Staff were excellent. They always had a smile and spoke to you.
