A great base for a Darwin stay
Pros:

Close to everything, great views! Good staff. Day tours are happy to pick up from hotel.

The car park laundry was a bit odd. But it worked…

Great location but I wouldn’t stay there again because of the lack of sound proofing
Pros:

Great position and good to have a restaurant on site.

Cons:

The rooms are not sound proofed at all. I could hear the TV in next room so clearly and anyone who came out of the lift and was talking in hallway would wake me up immediately. It was hard to get a good night’s sleep.

Pros:

The staff at reception were very friendly, the room with view was great, location good, overall it was a great place to stay.

Cons:

It was a bit embarrassing to ask for toilet paper etc as our room was only designated to be cleaned once a week

Overall a very good experience, the staff were happy, friendly and helpful, I would stay here again.
Pros:

Excellent location for being able to walk through the city with 10mins walking time to the Waterfront precinct via the Skywalk and even less to the amenities and restaurants of the city.

Cons:

Not realising the parking cost was not included in the room price.

It’s obvious why Oaks Elan is ranked the no. 1 hotel in Darwin.
Pros:

Outstanding staff service at the front desk, as I needed my luggage stored twice. Very positive vibe. My room on the 23rd floor provided spectacular views. The room itself was modern and stylish with a classy bathroom.

Cons:

Only small point I can think of is that the floor in the shower area is rather slippery - a possible hazard for those unsteady on their feet.
