James Hotel - Near Miami Beach Convention Center

A atendente do dia foi rude, o hotel tem cheiro de velho, os móveis são velhos, paredes sujas, tivemos que mudar de quarto porque a luz ficava apagando e voltando e era um defeito da instalação do quarto, o chuveiro não esquenta o suficiente, o frigobar fica dentro de um closet que não abre a porta porque a cama fica bem na frente.

My room was warm, the window unit didn't get my room cold. It's too hot in South Beach in the summer to come in and not be cool down. The key was a bit much. The whole door and door knob. It feel like someone could have easily broken into my room. The floor had cracks in it. My ceiling fan stop working.

Hotel had problems with electricity

No servía el ascensor el aire no funcionaba la cama dura almohada no sirven y de paso el baño el lavamanos casi encima de la poceta y olía mal las toallas eran tiesa parecían lijas menos mal que lleve toalla , no me dejaron estacionar el carro , caminé muchas cuadras , y de paso la atención de una joven que estaba ame regañó estaba que la ahorcaba y ustedes no me ayudaron yo quería salir de allí corriendo a otro hotel por qué yo estoy pagando eso no es gratis . No voy más a ese hotel no lo recomiendo para nada, mala atención llegue a las 11 de la noche y entré a la habitación 3 horas después gracias a la ayuda de un señor mayor , yo había visitado el hotel anteriormente pero casi nunca estaba allí solo iba a bañarme y descansar un rato la estadía allí está pocas horas pero no lo recomiendo u la tipa que use esta en recepción la joven es pedante y mal educada se ve que no tiene educación .

My experience with the James Hotel was lacking in several areas. Regarding parking, the booking website indicated that a parking lot was available. However, upon arrival, I was informed that my SUV was “too large” for their parking, and I would need to obtain permission from a manager for it to be accommodated. The attendant mentioned she would seek this permission by the following morning. When I left early, I did not have the opportunity to speak with the manager, and upon returning in the afternoon, the same employee informed me that the parking spot was no longer available since I had not spoken with the manager. It appeared that the attendant was providing excuses, as they clearly lied about having parking for the guesses. As for the room, there were issues with the bathroom light, which would turn off shortly after being activated, resulting in primarily dark showers. Additionally, the elevator was out of service on three occasions during our five-day stay. Overall, the customer service fell short, and the issues with both the parking and the room detracted from the experience. Based on this, I would not recommend staying at the James Hotel if you are visiting Miami Beach. I plan to return to Miami Beach next week and will be more careful when selecting my accommodation.

Rooms were cold during the night only

The administration seemed careless about the guests’ needs. She said we should have read the parking rules; however, no one contacted us to let us know that our room had no electricity, including no lights in the room or bathroom. I had to use a flashlight.

We liked everything about the hotel.
