Pros:

Very upmarket with friendly accommodating staff.
Absolutely stunning views over the lake from our room and from the hotel lounge and dining room.

Cons:

For us there was nothing to dislike.

Personal property removed from room by housekeeping
Pros:

Location. Close to rejkjavik centre, lovely views

Cons:

The staff mistakenly took some of my property from our room. I don't think this was a deliberate act. I only realized when I got home and the hotel acknowledged they had it when I reached out and said they would mail it to me but never followed through despite saying they would send it and have not offered any compensation.

Gutes Hotel für einen Kurzaufenthalt
Pros:

Das Zimmer war schön gross. Gut gelegen, ca. 20min. mit dem Auto vom Zentrum entfernt. Das Frühstück war ok und durchschaubar. Das Personal freundlich, es dauerte nur etwas länger zum ein und auschecken als erwartet bzw. als wir es bisher kannten.

Cons:

Langer Check-Out.
