a lovely one night stay, with lovely coffee and tasty breakfast, room onlooking the sand school.
Pros:

I rang the hotel as we had arrived earlier than we expected, I asked if we could check in earlier, the receptionist said she would call m when the room was ready, and she did.

Cons:

The parking wasn't great. I think a wedding or a celebration was taking place on the same day, and eventually we worked out there was overflow car park, even that was busy.

A true affordable Oasis to unwind in.
Pros:

How did I not know, before our visit, that this Oasis existed within easy reach of Glasgow, the Erskine Bridge and the road to the Highlands.
Our room had a fantastic view and was extremely comfortable and well appointed. Dinner was well cooked and portion sizes were spot on. Didn't get chance to try breakfast due to an early hospital appointment.
Would love to try a Lodge on our next visit.
Staff were attentive, well turned out and very professional. Well done Ingliston Country Club.

Cons:

What's not to like!

Lovely, quiet room in the hotels, looking out onto the horse training yards.
Pros:

The young girl at reception was very helpful, offering to put my freezer packs for my medication in the hotels freezer as there was no fridge in my room. My fault, I should have checked what came with the room but she made me feel very welcome, even though I was sick with head and chest infection.
There were so many choices for breakfast it was hard to decide what to have first. Bed was very comfortable; the shower was hot, but it had one of those big round roses which made it hard NOT to get my hair wet. I had a head & chest infection and didnt want to go to bed with wet/damp hair.

Cons:

The room was a little stuffy when I first entered. I noticed that the window was locked open which I didn't mind as I always like to have fresh air at night.
There was a Dyson like air blower but no instructions on how to use it. I finally figured it out. BUT, everytime I made a chanel/program change, the air blower would turn off, a bit annoying at first but I figured out how not to have this happen.

Experiência incrível
Pros:

Cons:

foi agradável

Slow service, staff need more training and food is average at best.
Pros:

I gave this feedback at the time on visiting in person to the Restaurant Manager so this won't be a shock for them to see.

Slow service, disinterested staff who don't frequently check in on the tables they're meant to be managing and the food is average at best these days.

Recent visit included a hotel stay for some of the party and for the couple staying the bedding was stained with makeup/fake tan.

Asked to sit outside for 30 minutes while we waited for our indoor table and was told "no tables" but managed to book a table online for the outdoor space while waiting at the bar for a drink for the exact 30 minutes I needed. Clearly an issue there with the booking system.

When sat at our table for dinner, the service was so slow to take our drinks and get them then eventually our food order was taken. When the wine was brought to the table, the bottle was opened and left at the end of the table with the glasses so we had to hand the glasses out ourselves and pour our own wine.

From sitting to getting our starters it was 50 minutes. We chased twice asking where the food was. Too slow and too long a wait when you have kids with you. Our booking was at 4pm so wasn't exactly a 'peak' time. Appreciate the Restaurant Manager trying to ascertain where the problems happened regarding timings for us but they do need to remember the customer is always right and no customer should be made to feel things are their fault when it took the restaurant staff too long to take the food order in the first place.

The food was average, I wouldn't write home about any of it.

These issues were raised at the time and we did receive a 10% meal discount but it shouldn't ever have to get to that stage.

Disappointed.
