Ruhiges, modernes Hotel in zentraler Lage von München.
Pros:

Ich hatte Doppelzimmer light als Einzelzimmer gebucht. Dadurch mehr als ausreichend Platz für eine Einzelperson. Trotz zentraler Lage sehr ruhig. Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sind gut erreichbar. Viele Restaurants und Englischer Garten in der Umgebung.

Pros:

In a good location and the downstairs of the property was very nice. The breakfast was excellent value for money with loads of options.

Cons:

Once you headed to the rooms the rest of the hotel felt very dated. As there was no air conditioning in the room it was very hot and had an uncomfortable nights sleep. Overall it was quite expensive for all things considered

Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis und die Lage sind perfekt - super freundliches Personal
Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels ist umwerfend - Alt-Schwabing hat Charme und die Nähe zum Englischen Garten ist top!
Das Personal ist extrem zuvorkommend und freundlich.
Die Betten sind sehr bequem

Cons:

Leider gibt es keine Klimaanlage und ich war an heißen Tagen dort.. Dennoch helfen die Rollos, nicht zu viel Hitze ins Zimmer zu lassen. Mein Zimmer mit seitlichen, großen und bodentiefen Fenstern ging zur Seite raus (Ausfahrt Tiefgarage) und aus irgendeinem Grund haben schon LKW‘s um halb 5 morgens rangiert. Vielleicht liegt das an Baustellen - das konnte ich nicht herausfinden.

Sauberes Zimmer

Zimmer viel zu warm (keine Klimaanlage)

Sehr laute Musik aus dem Restaurant bzw. der Bar bis spät in die Nacht! (Zimmer war im 1.Stock)

Außenrollo lässt sich nicht verstellen und schlägt die ganze Nacht im Wind gegen das Fenster!

Pros:

Netter check in. Leider keine Barzahlung möglich. Tolles Frühstück. Nahe Anbindung zu U Bahn. Gemütlich und modern eingerichtet.

Cons:

Die Zimmer wirken abgewöhnt und waren sehr warm. Bezüglich eines mobilen Klimagerät wurden wir erst beim check out informiert.

Extremely disappointing — poor service, little hospitality and nowhere near the standard expected
Pros:

The room itself was spacious and decent, but there was no air conditioning, amenities were very limited, and the minibar was extremely basic.

Cons:

I paid over €980 for four nights, including one night I could not use because my flight to Munich was cancelled. I fully understand this was not the hotel’s responsibility, but I had booked a more expensive flexible rate and would have appreciated some empathy or even a partial refund. Instead, the communication was dismissive and at times rude.
After insisting, I was offered €24 minibar credit, although at check-in the receptionist seemed unsure how to apply it and communication in English was very difficult. I only used €20.30 of it, and one of the items I took with me, a small pot of Pringles, had already been opened under the transparent lid! This is unacceptable from a hygiene perspective and not what I expect from a hotel of this category. The hygiene/room service is also average; I found my room half done the second day with the bed cover on the floor.

Breakfast is also very limited. It is à la carte with table service, but unlike many higher-tier hotels there is no complementary buffet with wider choice. Staff are often not around, so you need to call them if you need anything, and communication in English can again be difficult. If you have dietary preferences or need to explain something specific, this may be frustrating.

One evening I returned around 23:00 after a business dinner, and there was nobody at reception. I also called at the bar but nobody responded.

Another disappointment was my room. I had explicitly requested a quiet room on an upper floor, but I was given a room on the first floor facing the street, with a noisy restaurant/bar below until late. Essentially, the opposite of what I requested.

I am a frequent traveller and have lived in Germany, so this is not about “German directness”. I have experienced excellent hospitality in Germany many times. This hotel simply lacked warmth, attention, communication and proper customer care.

For the price and star rating, the overall service and quality were far below expectations
