Exceptional clean bedroom and bathroom.
Staff very helpful.
Staff and food was brilliant.
The room was not very clean. The sheets and towels were very clean but the room was not. We opened windows because of the heat and the windows and frames were very dirty inside and out. The lamps in the room were covered in a layer of dust and the fan was broken.
Nice roomy dining area , location Close to town with lots of parking. Staff were friendly and helpful. Try the marmalade ice cream it's fab.
Room was stuffy its was very hot and the bedding was far too thick as was summer. Should have ceiling fan at least as no air con. Had to ask for another fan as one in room didn't work. There was a lack of plug sockets and the room layout was poor as only 2 sockets usable and the hairdryer was difficult to use as had to sit on floor to use it so was as close to wardrobe mirror as possible so hardly practicle. Bathroom window locked so could get any fresh air in there.
Carpet was a bit stained I feel the room warranted 4 stars.
Staff were so friendly and under pressure so good at their job
Hotel was excellent but further out of Southwold than expected and no near pubs
Great service and friendly staff
The table with tea making facilities was rather low and impractical. Bit dangerous when using a boiling kettle

Breakfast is a highlight at the Randolph. We had to be careful on this trip though as we were having an early lunch with friends and needed to be able to eat something!
Not much. We had dinner we friends the night of of stay but they wanted to eat elsewhere as they felt the menu was too limited at the Randolph …sadly.
