An enjoyable stay regardless,nice location in beautiful area

A comfortable and enjoyable stay in a great location - great food was the icing on the cake......
Pros:

A lovely period coaching inn which has been tastefully and thoughtfully modernised without removing charming original features like the beamed snug and bar areas. Arriving on a wet day we were met by cheerful staff who checked us in efficiently and with humour! We thought the rooms were spacious and comfortable and the ensuites tasteful and well equipped - great showers and plentiful hot water. The restaurant boasts a varied menu and many local suppliers - I enjoyed the home made chicken pie and the others raved about the local lamb! Parking immediately in front of Y Talbot gives a short stroll to the front door and our motorcycles slotted in neatly between the planters.
Oh, and motorcyclists will enjoy the little gift provided on departure...

Wanted to stay longer.
Pros:

Staff. Amazing patience dealing with our support late arrival. And with a smile!

Cleanliness. Spotless sheets, floor, bathroom. Everything.

The Room. We were in the garden suite. Big, clean, very simple and tasteful decoration with good quality furniture.

Breakfast. Good variety. Catering for all diets. Great service.

Cons:

There was a bit of droning from a A/C unit during the night but the room didn't have A/C.

Sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Auch das Dinner ist zu empfehlen. Im Pub kann man den Abend in netter Atmosphäre ausklingen lassen. 👍

Great place to stay, attentive staff and great value.
Pros:

We needed to be in Tregaron for a meeting so the location was perfect. The rooms were excellent for the price, the shower was powerful and the restaurant was very good. Everything was good value also.

Cons:

Everything was great, if pushed the room I had was extremely hot, the shower gel seemed to be hand soap and the dining room was practical but lacked the character of the rest of the hotel.
