La posizione è sicuramente ottima
La struttura è vecchia. La camera è molto degradata. Il pavimento è molto disconnesso, la porta del bagno era "marcia" sulla parte bassa, la ventola del bagno non funzionava, il piatto doccia e le porte erano sporche e mancavano anche gli asciugamani per due persone.
Per quello che abbiamo speso il luogo non vale proprio la pena, anzi una spesa molto elevata per avere solo la posizione ottima.

The staying at Ibis was very comfortable. A bit tricky to find (because of the different levels of the city streets) but once you understand how it works, it’s on a great location, very near the Royal Mile.

La ubicación a dos minutos de la Royal Mile es extraordinaria. El personal muy amable, pese a estar en pleno festival Fringe y notarse mucho movimiento. El precio, seguramente por el festival, algo disparado de más, aunque en las próximas semanas seguramente será aún peor.
Las instalaciones están bien, sin ningún lujo.
Nos encontramos en una zona común un ratoncillo, que entró a dar un paseo por el restaurante, aunque en esta zona de la ciudad a mi me pareció algo que podría pasar. Se lo dijimos al personal e inmediatamente cerraron para "buscarlo".
El precio, alto para el hotel.

Staff was friendly. Room was confortable, except for the bathroom, and large.
Location is extremely noisy, although near Royal Mile, it is too noisy and busy. The hotel itself is very noisy. The bathroom was extremely uncomfortable.
Very central location and just a short walk to main train station. The breakfast selection was reasonable but standard hotel breakfast, no special orders .
Check-in and out was quick and easy.

Odaların temizliği iyi yapılmıyordu, çöpler nadiren değiştiriliyordu. Tuvalet kağıdı dahi her seferinde yenilenmedi. tuvaletin kapısı oldukça gürültülüydü, tuvaletin yalıtımı yok denecek kadar kötüydü ve yatak/yastık rahatsızdı. Pencereler azıcık bile açılamıyordu ve klima odanın havalandırılması için yetersizdi.

The female staff were lovely and accommodating. On arrival, my initial room had an extremely unpleasant smell. After some discussions, I was offered a replacement room.
It was a bit too far from the airport tram station. Was a long steep walk to catch it with two 23 kg bags, but doable.
Location and breakfast
My room smelled very badly, a mix of humidity and something else like tobacco. It was very unpleasant. The carpet on the restaurant was so dirty
