The tv had lots of channels and streaming options toaster was fancy but no breakfast or bread included so dunno if it works good
The least peaceful hotel I've ever stayed at the window air-conditioner that's not even plugged in let's all the noise in so I can hear everything outside like it's in my room like street car voiceovers the rain spout next to my window every car going by the street car straight up rumbles my bed and window lets in a serious draft could not get warm at all the bed side lamp with charger didn't charge my phone the standing desk isn't plugged in or even able to be plugged in the bathroom is so tiny it's hard to wipe let alone sit down no way I'm even going to try the shower the drain in bathroom floor is covered in a square cover that slides around over a round drain the sink spout isn't attached at all the bathroom hand dryer is against my wall so whenever someone washes hands it sounds like someone is vacuuming my wall people loudly talked in the hall to staff at 6 am waking me up has a fancy toaster but no bread or breakfast included even tho it says breakfast included on Google maps neighborhood is shitty and sketchy my credit card wasn't working for deposit so I had to walk 10-15 minutes to go to a sketchy atm past multiple drug dealers and junkies to take out cash to get into my room because they can't take debit payment and my fellow guests power went out and front desk seemed confused by that not sure what happened with that after I went back into my cold damp loud room to attempt to get some more sleep did I mention that my wall was literally against street car stop so everytime it stops I hear the voice over
The worst hotel I’ve ever seen in my life and I’ve travelled 55 countries (including Asia and Africa…)
I would like to make a complaint regarding my recent stay at your hotel. I paid approximately $180 per night and stayed for 3 days, but unfortunately the service was very disappointing.
During my entire stay, nobody came to clean or organize the room. Basic items such as toothbrushes and drinking water were not provided. In addition, the room door was damaged and very difficult to open and close, which caused significant inconvenience and concern during my stay.
For the amount paid, I expected a much better level of service and maintenance. I hope this issue will be taken seriously and addressed appropriately.
Sincerely,
Naseer Abdo

Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Convenient location.
The Inn was pretty bare bones and while location was convenient it also felt sketchy. The tea selection offered was very limited and the coffee wasn't very good.

Cool history of the building! Budget place to stay, it's not a holiday inn but got the job done!
Ruff neighborhood, low end accommodation.
The room was simple, cute and clean. The beds were comfier than expected. I was not disturbed by anyone else in the building. Great location in the city for where I needed to go, close to everything.
Just wish there was a mini fridge in the room and there was more onsite parking, Only 3 spots when listed as on site parking. Had to walk about 5mins away to park, not too bad but still far enough away.
This area was so sketchy and scary. Very high crime rate. I wish the reviews I read would have said more about the area. Don't stay here, it's not even that cheap compared to nice hotels closer to downtown.

The property was just outside the main city centre so it wasn’t cursed with a dearth of traffic or external noise. It was about a 15 minute walk from TMU subway station (and quite close to a tram stop but I didn’t use the tram to go to/from the hotel).
I liked the bold exterior, it made the building very easy to identify. The room was small but comfortable, the bed was exactly right with a good duvet and flexible pillows to help in a good nights sleep. The bathroom had been recently done up, it was nice and clean and there was plenty of room in the shower to move about and watch it oneself.
I didn’t make use of the tea or coffee in the kitchen but that was a nice addition and there’s also water coolers in the main reception area as well as the option to purchase soft drinks.
Cabbagetown is a mixed bag of an area, there are some nice parts and some not quite so nice parts. If you approach the hotel from the north on Ontario Street, it’s nice. If you approach from Dundas Street, it’s not so nice.
I would have preferred that there was a safe in the room to lock away my valuables. My suitcase was lockable but for peace of mind, I do prefer to have a safe in the room. It’s also a minor gripe but my room only had one electrical socket and the air-conditioning unit and the lamp were plugged into it so one of them had to be unplugged for me to use my chargers.
