Nada a reclamar

Badezimmer nicht sauber,überall haare. Mülleimer noch von den Vorgänger voll. Keiner telefonisch erreichbar.

Ich war vielmals schon hier und bis dahin bis sehr zufrieden. Diese Woche war nur leider enttäuschend. Normalerweise läuft Klimaanlage reibungslos, aber leider lief sie nicht kontinuierlich, dass man Mitte in der Nacht aufstehen muss, um sie weiter anzuschalten. Es gibt auch lautes Piepsen von einem Tür und war laut. Heute um 1Uhr ist der Feueralarm ausgelöst worden, und jeder sollte evakuieren. (Ich habe leider nicht so zuerst wahrgenommen weil ich gedacht habe dass das von der "defekten" Tür) ....Feuerwehr kam und hat keinen Brand gesehen.

und noch was, damals gab es Wilkommensgetränke, und leider fehlte es, und das Zimmer wird aufgeräumt wenn man den Schild am Tür anhängt, aber leider war es nicht stattgefunden.

Noisy when you open the window

Check in process was literally a failure. The terminal kiosk didn’t work. There’s no reception after 8:30pm so we were locked out of the hotel with no one to contact since I did not have a local Austrian number. The staff were not responsive to my email to help with the check in process.

Note to future guests: if you’re checking in after 8:30pm, be sure to work out a solution ahead of time with the staff.

Shout out to Matthäus (who was a hotel guest that we ran into, luckily for us!). Truly thankful to kind strangers and if it wasn’t for him who helped us contact and call someone from the hotel to check us in, we honestly would probably have to camp out for the night.

My room was super claustrophobic, I tried opening the windows for some ventilation and I couldn’t sleep bcz of the outside noise. It was super annoying and noisy to stay with Plaza INn.

Their lift also broke down which took half n hour to fix ❌
No in-house breakfast or food or coffee option ❌

I prepaid for my room at the time of booking. A few days before arrival, I received a WhatsApp message from the hotel with a registration form asking for my name, passport number and address, followed by a request for my payment details to pay for a room I had already paid for.

I contacted the hotel through Booking.com to check. They replied that they do send WhatsApp messages for registration, but never for payment, and told me to ignore it because it was not them.

At check in, the receptionist told me I had not paid and asked me to pay again. I had the payment confirmation in my email and on my bank statement, and asked her to check her system. She insisted I had not paid. Only after I asked a second time did she look again and confirm that I had.

While I was standing at that desk, I received another WhatsApp from the same number the hotel had told me was not them. It contained my room number and digital check in details, information only the hotel had. So the number was theirs, and the earlier payment request had come from them.

There was also no one at reception in the mornings or at night. The evening before departure I asked the receptionist whether we could check out early and leave our luggage, and she confirmed someone would be there before our checkout time. The next morning, with a train to catch, reception was empty. I tried the self checkout terminal instead and it would not let me complete checkout because it showed the room fee as unpaid. That was the third time I was told to pay for a room I had already paid for.

I would not stay here again, and I would be careful with any payment request you receive from them.
