From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. With effect from 1 June 2014, the Penang City Council will be imposing a fee of MYR 2 per room per night, payable directly to the hotel upon check-in. Please note that this is not included in the room rate.

Please note that for guests requiring a tax invoice in the name of their company upon check-out, please email a request to the accommodations. Please allow 14 working days for the property to process the request.

My room looked like a really nice prison cell

Great location

Cons:

It was damp and had a strong musty smell throughout my stay. It was very dark, with no natural light except for a small window facing another building. The air conditioning did not work properly, and the ventilation was extremely poor.

The humidity in the room was so bad that the bed sheets felt wet, as if they had just come out of the washing machine. The mattress was also far too soft for comfort. I couldn't sleep at all during the night and ended up checking out after the first night, cancelling the rest of my stay.

Perfecte locatie!
Pros:

De locatie was heel goed, dichtbij Armenian street, Chew Jett ,Lovelane en andere bezieningswaardigheden..Het personeel aan de balie was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam.Wij hadden de luxe familie kamer met 2 persoonsbedden.

Cons:

De badkamer was oké, en mag net als het hele gebouw wel gerenoveerd worden.

Pros:

Very nice place with rooftop restaurant where you can eat breakfast. I asked for breakfast on the room bill and they charged a service fee in addition. I don't know if I would have received the list price if I paid for breakfast at the counter.

Pros:

Comfortable accomodation in Georgetown, very well located, the personal is extremely kind, the bed was comfortable, breakfast was also fine, we definitely reccommend it.

Very good location.
Pros:

The best: location. It looks like as a hotel from an Agatha Cristie novell. Excellent value for money, especially for a few days stay.

Cons:

The wall was dirty. They changed our room to an other (with worse condition).
