Self catering in GC
Pros:

The hotel was very basic. It had 4 pools - 2 adults pools, a splash pool for little ones and a family pool. We stayed near the family pool. It was deep all round but had no signal to say so and you weren't allowed any type of floats, not even a small ball that a few teens were passing between them. It was clean but old ( so the cracks were showing) and the cleaners were great. We had a ground floor room with terrace so we had our own sun loungers and walked straight out to the pool which was fantastic. People should note that there are residents in the hotel so sometimes a lot of families coming and going - we had no problems with them. We didn't eat at the hotel as we were self catering so can't comment on that.

There was plenty of shops and bars right outside the hotel and a large market directly across the road twice a week - Wednesday and Saturday which was really good and very busy.

We found Lady Pink restaurant just round the corner was very good for breakfast and Yankys just a bit further down for lunch/dinner but there are plenty to choose from!

It was about 10/15 minutes walk to the beach and plenty on shops and restaurants/bars.

La piscina infantil.

Cons:

No me gustó que no tienen aire acondicionado y eso es imprescindible. Por otro lado, el todo incluido, no tiene ni una miserable granizada incluida en el bar piscina, también había que abonarla. Y por último, el último día que estuve allí se hacen caca en la piscina y la cierran desde las 12:45 de la mañana, hasta el día siguiente me quedé sin disfrutar de la piscina. Me ponen la excusa de que tengo dos piscinas más en la la parte de atrás y les dije que mi hijo de 6 años y que no sabe nadar, le gusta estar en la infantil y no voy a dejarlo solo para yo irme a la de atrás habiendo pagado por esas dos. No me dieron compensación ninguna y por supuesto puse una reclamación, y esperando a valorar por Booking y decir que me parece una estafa en toda regla.

Nightmare Holiday: Structural Pest Infestation & Complete Abandonment by TUI
Pros:

Do not book this property, and do not trust TUI to look after you if things go wrong. What was supposed to be a relaxing package holiday turned into a living nightmare from day one.Upon checking in, we discovered a severe cockroach infestation inside our accommodation. Pests were literally emerging from the bathtub. This isn't just a "local climate bug"—the infestation is structural and building-wide, with cockroaches found all the way up on the 4th floor.
When we refused to stay in these unhygienic conditions, the property management offered us a ground-floor room, which is an unacceptable alternative for a ground-up pest outbreak.The treatment we received from TUI was absolutely appalling. We were subjected to continuous delay tactics for over 24 hours. Front-line app agents repeatedly tried to illegally charge us a "voluntary amendment fee" just to escape a statutory health hazard. We were passed between multiple staff members (Paul, Adham, Kenny, Matthew) who did absolutely nothing but stall.
At one point, we were told to sit in the reception lobby all day to wait for a 4:00 PM visiting representative. When the rep finally arrived, they explicitly looked us in the eye and stated: "Once you are in resort, TUI won't do anything." To make matters worse, TUI promised an emergency deep clean, which never happened, and instead insulted us by leaving a chemical spray can for us to treat the room ourselves.On top of the severe hygiene failure, the property actively breached our contracted booking terms. We paid for a full All-Inclusive package, yet the hotel pool bar refused to provide snacks and demanded extra out-of-pocket cash payments.
TUI completely failed its legal Duty of Care under the Package Travel Regulations 2018. They left an exhausted, highly distressed customer stranded poolside and in a lobby for over 24 hours, unable to safely shower or use the toilet without fear.This case has been formally logged as an emergency dispute with ABTA. TUI has taken our money and completely abandoned us in an unsafe, unhygienic environment. Avoid this property and avoid TUI package holidays at all costs.

. piden 50 euros de fianza.alquilamos dos pingüinos y de esa forma pudimos dormí tres horas. Nos fuimos a las 9 de la mañana

Buen hotel en buena ubicación
Pros:

Buena ubicación, buenas instalaciones aunque el edificio está construido en los años 70. Nosotros cogimos las habitaciones Deluxe y estaban reformadas y actualizadas. Estaba muy limpio, enhorabuena al personal de limpieza.
Fuimos un día al buffet y estaba todo muy bueno y la comida nos pareció de calidad . Las piscinas infantiles muy bien

Cons:

Salió una cucaracha por el desague como un ratón de grande pero entiendo que es inevitable por el sistema de cañerías y fué puntual, volvería a alojarme allí a pesar de esto pues creo que toda la isla sufre plagas en mayor o menor medida.

El hotel debería penalizar a los que reservan con sus toallas las hamacas de la piscina. A las 8:30 ya hay muchos listos que ponen la toallita para guardar el sitio, apunto estuve un día de bajar y tirar todas las toallas a la basura

Que tenía 4 piscinas

Cons:

No gustaron varias cosas el apartamento sin microondas y sin aire acondicionado el sillón era prácticamente una tabla nevera pequeña no puedes hacer una compra porque no te cabe nada y para mí punto de vista en la piscina principal permiten muchas cosas como fumar, beber, comer,oír música. Y la gente lo deja todo tirado por ahí los vasos las bebidas la comida y luego el tema de las hamacas como bajes más tarde de las 08:45 ni hamacas puedes coger de locos .Y para terminar no tienen wifi te la tienes que pagar.

El parque de agua infantil está muy bien para los niños, la comida del buffet súper buena y siempre variada.

Cons:

La piscina grande, donde está el parque infantil siempre está caliente y en verano no es agradable entrar a la piscina y que esté tan caliente.

Pros:

Me gustaron las piscinas hasta que las cerraron 3 veces en el mismo día por “accidentes” de niños. Una cochinada.

Cons:

Pasar la noche en vela porque el apartamento que me dieron teniendo un hijo pequeño daba hacia el exterior. Y cuando llamé para que me ayudaran a cerrar la ventana alta del pasillo nadie apareció. Una vergüenza.

Worst hotel ever
Pros:

Hotel over priced for what you get, I have paid less for a 5 star hotel rooms are awful with no air con, you have to pay £50 euros deposit on check in could understand if anything in the hotel was worth that, location of the hotel means you can hear the night life all night long so can not sleep, the food is awful and stale you have to pay for wi fi, I would avoid at all costs you can better for the price they charge
