Convenient and comfortable
Pros:

Great location close to State Street and UW campus. The hotel offers free breakfast, and Basset Street Brunch (not free) is also on site and delicious--put your name on the list early to get a spot there!

Pros:

Perfect location for anyone visiting the University of Madison or downtown. Friendly staff. Clean. Good amount of space in the King suite.

Cons:

Expensive - although we were there during Freshman dorm move-in weekend so I'm sure demand was high.

Best Hampton we have ever stayed at!
Pros:

Great Location. Best Hampton Inn we have ever stayed at. Very clean and friendly staff. We were able to check in early (mid-week), easy access to parking garage and $25/night was a lot more reasonable then the $48 for Milwaukee, and the room/hotel was in excellent condition. I would highly recommend this location. We had no issues at all.

Extremely comfortable, great experience to spend time downtown Madison.

Cons:

The town of Madison allows construction crews to begin at 6am, adjacent to the hotel. Hampton has no control over this.
