From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. On the positive side, the room was spacious and, despite having no windows, it was reasonably well ventilated and did not smell damp or unpleasant. The bathroom was small, but there was plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The Wi-Fi worked well, and the staff were kind and helpful.
The location was perfect. Only 5min walk from main street. Bedroom big enough. Breakfast generous.
We specifically requested a quiet room away from the lift, but were given a room directly opposite it, making it extremely noisy. I asked to change rooms, but was told that the hotel was fully booked. The soundproofing is also very poor, so noise from the corridor and other guests is easily heard.
The hotel regularly receives large Chinese tour groups, with buses arriving one after another. Unfortunately, these groups can be extremely noisy, and nothing seems to be done to ask guests to keep the noise down. As this hotel is clearly a regular stop for large tour buses, this can make the stay quite unpleasant if you are looking for peace and quiet.
Cleanliness could also be improved.
Breakfast was not particularly good, although the buffet offered a generous selection.
Overall, the price is reasonable and there are some good points, but the noise was a major issue for us. If you are looking for a quiet stay, this may not be the right hotel for you.

great value for money, good location central to everything. The bed and pillow were very comfortable. Shower was good with positive waterflow.
I only have one gripe in that I wanted to contact a local golf course to see if I could get on for a game. I was unable to make a local call from my mobile phone. I enquired about the room phone which was internal use only. I then asked the reception if they could make the call for me. I offered to pay but my request was declined. I thought this was a bit mean.
Struttura abbastanza pulita e in una buona posizione per raggiungere a piedi le principali vie di Kota. Colazione abbastanza completa (oltre al cibo "orientale", presenti postazione uova, pane e marmellata, torte).
A fare calare il voto della struttura è stata la lentezza nel consegnare in camera la carta igienica dopo aver chiamato la reception: oltre 20 minuti di attesa non possono essere tollerati per una richiesta di questo tipo. Aggiungerei anche degli yogurt e delle scelte senza lattosio alla colazione
Sarapan terbaik. Kakitangan mesra & sudi menolong. Makanan dining sedap walaupun kadang tak lengkap e.g kehabisan tartar sauce.
Set seterika kat luar bilik, koridor. Elok lagi kalau tersedia dalam bilik terus. Beberapa tempat panas e.g lobi. Air pernah tutup.
It is in a great location and the breakfast was good
Cleaning standard was not great. Staff were friendly but not super helpful especially considering we were previously advised we could do an early check in but upon arrival were charged a fee for this, which was very disappointing. Also, the tours that the hotel advertise are very overpriced and you can book the same things for 1/4 of the price in person at the jetty.

The hotel location is perfect to explore KK by foot. Gaya Street, Padang Bandaran and great shopping complex are all in short walking distance.
No designated parking space for hotel guests. As the hotel is located at one of hot place to be in KK, empty parking space is a almost non existent.
And lastly, don't expect a good food at the hotel. Most guests preferred eating out.
