The location to the Waterloo train and underground was perfect.
There’s no lift/elevator. Had to climb up 4 flights of stairs each time you left the hotel.
Good value for the price
They stocked free, high quality ear plugs in the room, which were desperately needed.
The windows in our “Luxury Double” room had opaque film on them and could not be seen out of. It is not unreasonable to expect a window that can be seen out of when paying over four hundred dollars a night. Train tracks, plural, passed within 15 feet of our room, two on one side, 1 on the other. When we complained, the staff responded with snark and made no attempt to rectify the problem. The decor was dingy and old, with chipped paint, tired furnishings, moldy shower, exposed pluming in the bathroom. The entrance was in an alley next to the garbage bins and graffiti.
I travel extensively and have realistic expectations of big city hotel rooms. This hotel was misrepresented and absurdly overpriced.
ALL the staff were lovely, and went to a lot of effort to make my son’s birthday special. The room was cosy and clean, the facilities were good and despite being central Waterloo, we managed to get a really good nights sleep. The food in the pub was good, especially the breakfast. The hotel is in the perfect location for the train, London eye, dungeons and aquarium.
Nothing I can comment on but be mindful that the hotel doesn’t have a lift!
-Location
-Fridge with water, coffee and tea
-climated pub with good food (discount included)
-
complicated check-in process (we arrived 1.5h before check-in and as it was time, there was a huge line, and the check-in almost took 30 minutes)
-little space to move and install things in the rooms
Läget var toppen! Mysigt rum.
Mycket ljud från puben och tågen.
It was clean and comfortable and the staff were excellent. The breakfast was superb and its proximity to Waterloo station very convenient.,
Fairly steep stairs and no lift. It was a bit noisy.
Great value for money, great location for sightseeing and travel, comfortable, clean and friendly
Excellent recent stay on a tour around London. The Wellington is a pub right in the heart of the sights. Great breakfast, nice people and we will definitely stay again.
Posizione ottima vicino stazione Metro e treno Waterloo, colazione abbondante .
