Ok for one night.
Pros:

The owner is a gentle soul. She was very helpful & kind. Late arrival due to delayed flights she was accommodating.

Cons:

It doesn’t appear anything like the photos. It’s basic and tired but spotless. Very comfortable bed. Noisy aircon.

Lovely place to stay, really good service, rooms cleaned daily. some snacks, tost with butter and jam, fruits coffee or tea for breakfast we had free of charge. We didn't have any issues during our stay, really enjoyed. Hotel located close to main road, easy to get around island. Many nice restaurants close to the hotel.All staff in the hotel really helpful and nice. You can rent a bike from hotel, also book a taksi to airport or to pier cheaper than on Grab or Bolt.

I really enjoyed my time. Nothing negative

Pros:

Ottima casetta indipendente vista piscina, con patio privato con lettini, tavolino e stendi abiti. Casetta accogliente e spaziosa. Fornita di cucina che però non abbiamo usato perché a 15 metri c’è un ottimo ristorante.

Cons:

Il bagno è vecchio, sarebbe da revisionare. Il lavandino erogava acqua non proprio trasparente.
L’aria condizionata non rinfrescava.

Prima hotel!
Pros:

Mooie grote kamer. Aparte woonkamer en trapje op naar badkamer en slaapkamer. Veel ruimte. Moderne google tv.
Zwembad (klein maar prima) zeg maar voor je kamer. Ik kon er zo in lopen. Dat is niet bij elke kamer in het hotel, maar dit was mooi. Hele bungalow met bankje buiten enzo geweldig.
Hele dag (tot iets van 1800) onbeperkt koffie/thee. Tot 1200 kun je wat toast maken, wat fruit eten. Prima.
Schoonmakers maken ook als je pas om 1400 weggaat toch je kamer schoon. Dat is pas service.
Zeer vriendelijk personeel.

Goed restaurant 2 deuren verder aan de doorlopende straat. Hebben we vaak gegeten.

Eerste dag even moeten zoeken maar bijvoorbeeld "your place" op zeg maar 500m lopen is een perfecte beach bar.
Bestel gewoon wat drank en eten en je krijgt er tafeltje en stoel bij.
Op loopafstand er van zijn er nog een aantal, zitten wat mooiere bij (geen plastic stoeltjes) maar die zijn ook duurder.
Even moeten wennen dat de 500m naar your place wel (flink) omhoog en omlaag is. Niet in de volle zon doen.

Je kunt ook altijd een grab nemen naar verderop (hebben we 1 keer gedaan) maar dat telt wel op heen en weer. Grab is best duur in Samui. In Bangkok betaal je ~150 Baht voor 15km. Hier minimaal ~250 baht voor elk ritje. Iets langere ritjes worden dan duurder, zit je bij 12km op ~400 Baht. Songthaews naar onze ervaring niet echt goedkoper.

Cons:

In potentie supergeweldig hotel. Kleine dingetjes houden het tegen.
Ja ik vind dit kleine dingetjes gezien Thailand (kom hier al 27 jaar) en heb dit soort "thai style" vaker meegemaakt.

Dit is een mix van resort niveau en dan opeens plastic wat ik vaker zie. Maar je betaalt ook 5 tot 10 keer minder....
- Plastic deurtje bij de badkamer wat duidelijk een vervanging is voor de originele deur (bij de slaapkamer kon je zien hoe mooi die was). Maak ik me niet druk over, maar deur pastte ook niet goed en had sloten aan beide kanten (?).
- Schuifdeuren in de woonkamer sluiten net niet aan dus je krijgt ongedierte binnen tenzij je constant de deur op slot doet.
- Dochters hadden een airco zonder swingbladen. Deed het verder prima, maar het is dan weer net niet.
- Droogrekje bij de bungalow was beetje stuk. Prima te gebruiken, maar dat zie je dus niet bij een duurder hotel.

Nogmaals. Voor de prijs zijn dit kleine dingetjes.
