Restaurant food is really bad. The manager kept on screaming around the hotel. She also screamed at a staff member in front of us. Really unprofessional and unnecessary.

Indimenticabile Zante, Super Avalon Palace

La Suite n°7 spettacolare, pulita, comoda, privacy Top, ben organizzata, zona doccia davvero particolare, letto grande, la parte prima della piscina è un posto dove rassettare le tue idee e lo stress accumulato, poi i due lettini dove abbronzarsi e abbandonarsi alla veduta di ZANTE, .....e LEI, la magnifica e generosa piscina personale della Suite dove la parte a sfioro Ci ha permesso di "scattare" una foto che rimarrà per sempre indelebile nei Nostri ricordi. Hotel davvero chic, personale sempre gentile e attento con tutti, sempre col sorriso e pronto ad accogliere ogni Nostra richiesta. Alla reception, al bar del ristorante, il personale in piscina gentilissimi e soprattutto giovani e svegli. Il cibo per Noi conta poco in vacanza, ma devo ammettere che il buffet della cena era sostanzioso ed eccellente come scelta, così come la colazione. Ampio parcheggio, in 5 minuti di auto al lungomare del porto, città vivissima di turisti. A 5 minuti trovi Bochali, un posto panoramico dove la movida senza eccessi ti fa godere un'altra visione della città e una goduria la sera al tramonto. La posizione dell'Hotel è perfetta per andare ovunque.Siamo stati dappertutto in 5 giorni, Navajo spiaggia del relitto (che acqua color turchese mai vista!!), Gerakas, San Nikolas, Pelagakis, Wolf Rock, Makris Gialos, Blue Caves, Myzithres, Marathonisi, Cameo Island, una vacanza da sogno per Me la Mia dolce metà! Io non scrivo mai recensioni dettagliate, ma quando l'esperienza alloggio/location/ambiente naturale sono super, merita davvero tutto questo pensiero. Vogliamo anche menzionare i due gatti dell'hotel che abbiamo chiamato "Zante" e "Apollo", due felini furbetti e padroni dell'Avalon, ma mai invadenti! Si fanno accarezzare con tante fusa e quando capita che qualcuno ha paura o magari non è amante dei felini, vengono prontamente richiamati e momentaneamente allontanati (ma dura poco!! ah! ah!.) Andateci è eccezionale.

Cons:

Nulla. da buon italiano il caffè espresso non è mai come in Italia, ma questo importa poco e vale in quasi ogni parte del mondo. In camera comunque trovi una ottima macchina Nespresso e le capsule, perfette per un ottimo caffè.
