Excellent stay!
Pros:

Magical stay in one of the jungle suit on the last floor. Breakfast was delicious with also a view to the zoo. The bar is well visited during the night. Will definitely come back!

Pros:

Gute Lage, sonst wenig.

Cons:

Alles sehr dunkel. Wenn die Aufzug Tür zu ist, sieht man nichts mehr. Man kann auch keine Etage mehr drücken. Die Flure zu den Hotelzimmern sind extrem dunkel. In den oberen beiden Stockwerken hört man die Bässe der darüberliegenden Monkey Bar.

Das Konzept passt irgendwie nicht.
Pros:

Der Blick auf den Zoo.

Cons:

Die Beschreibung auf den Portalen ist sehr verwirrend. Die Eingangssituation mit Rezeption in der dritten Etage wäre soweit okay, wenn die Aufzüge funktionieren würden. Das Personal war sehr nett, aber teilweise komplett überfordert. Die sehr laute Monkey war beherrscht das Geschehen. Es sei insgesamt sehr dunkel in den Gängen und Fluren.

Pros:

Die Lage ist sehr gut. Frühstück ok.

Cons:

Vieles hat uns nicht gefallen. Alles sehr dunkel. Die Zoogeräusche sind oft nicht angebracht. Auch unseren jüngeren Mitreisenden (21 Jahre) hat es nicht gefallen. Der Aufzug ist eine Katastrophe.

Pros:

Heel grappig hotel, over elk detail is nagedacht. De kamer was meer dan verwacht, onwijs leuk ingedeeld en ingericht! Grandioos uitzicht over Tiergarten en de Zoo. Bovenin het gebouw zat zelfs een van onze lievelings restaurants Neni Berlin. Hier een keer gegeten en ontbeten; heerlijk!

Okay und amüsant, für einen längeren Aufenthalt eher nicht geeignet.
Pros:

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, auch wenn durchgeduzt wird. Das Bett war sehr gut. Der Ausblick vom Fenster auf den Zoo sehr schön.

Cons:

Das Zimmer ist nicht gut beleuchtet. Nur kleine Lichtquellen. Die Waschbeckensituation war so, dass ich meine Kontaktlinsen mangels Ausleuchtung nicht sehen und damit nicht einsetzen konnte. Dusche und WC sind schwarz gekachelt, was bei guter Beleuchtung okay wäre, aber so eben eher nicht. Kaum vernünftige Ablageflächen. Der Fahrstuhl war zeitweise defekt. Das Frühstücksbuffet war für die Hotelklasse normal und gut bestückt, aber viel zu eng. Dazu lief laute Musik, die zwar die Gäste übertönte, aber kein ruhiges Frühstück ermöglichte. Auf der Terrasse war nicht eingedeckt. Es wurden vorausschauend 70 Euro einbehalten für den Fall, dass ich - 63 Jahre alt - das Zimmer demoliere. Das ist nachgerade lächerlich und mir noch nie passiert. Ansonsten: Nett möbliert und ausgestattet, etwas aufdringlich gestaltet für Gäste, die selbst im kreativen Bereich tätig sind und derlei Schnickschnack eher als ablenkend empfinden. Freunde berichteten von einem Eigentümerwechsel, vielleicht ist das der Grund.
