Pre-cruise visit to London
Pros:

Given heat issues in London and Western Europe, we wanted a hotel w/ good AC and had read about some places w/ only fans, which pushed hot air around. Cheval Three Quays is more of a short-term apartment than a hotel, but it met our need perfectly. We booked the prior night, to have immediate room access upon early a.m. arrival. Room was ready and included a nice bottle of wine. It overlooked the London Tower complex and was a 3-minute walk from the dock for a lunch cruise on the Thames. Nearby are some very nice restaurants, which seemed to be frequented by locals. At one, we got some delicious take-out and went back to our room to enjoy w/ the gratis bottle of wine. Next morning, we got a very nice breakfast at another nearby restaurant. Without question, we'd come back to this hotel!

Really nice apartments directly on The Thames.
Pros:

Great location and the apartment was beautiful and clean.

Cons:

Was disappointed that our room did not have a clear view of Tower Bridge. We were facing the Thames but were under the impression when we booked that we would have a view of the Bridge but it was obstructed by other portions of the building.

EXCELLENT views of the thames, balcony, gorgeous bathroom and having a kitchenette for food & drinks
Pros:

They upgraded us for our annivesary and we had a spectacular view of the thames and the shard it was perfect! the balcony is wonderful! and having a kitchen to store food and drinks is a game changer.

For the amount of money you’re paying you can find a lot better around london.

it was in a good location central to everything

Cons:

the room pictures were not as the room was i booked a luxury apartment and requested a high floor but this did not happen. Also the staff on arrival was abrupt and not friendly or welcoming at all. When the staff changed it was a lot better in the evening.

Being hit up on check out for pre determined tip for cleaners. I was of the understanding UK didn’t tip not to mention no allowance for tourists from other countries dollar value to the pound and what they equates for for the client tour asking them to pay. Unfair.

A Month in Tower Hill
Pros:

We based in London here for 1 month. It was a wonderful location near the south bank activities, Eastern London activities, and of course right next to the Tower of London and Tower pier for boats. The hotel service was our favorite part. Lorraine and all of the door staff were extremely welcoming and nice and we felt very safe having our kids walk down in the morning to wait. It felt secure and all of our needs and concerns were quickly and kindly attended to. We also had a very spacious 2 bedroom for London properties which was perfect for 2 kids and 2 adults. It was quiet and right above a Pret and Starbucks which is super convenient. The restaurant Coppa Club was also right there which is nice. We are so grateful for all of the staff and the girls will have many fond memories from here!
