Satisfactory and convenient.
Pros:

Location, restaurant on site.

Cons:

Needs refurbishing, especially the bathroom in the family room. Whilst the breakfast basket was ok and fresh milk and fruit in the room was nice, it would have been preferable if breakfast was available in the restaurant.

Dissatisfied with room, quite shabby decor, disappointing stay for the money

Location & evening drinks in the outdoors

Cons:

Was a lot of money for the room with breakfast which was a hamper. Room over looked car park despite costing £177 per night plus an early check in would have cost an extra £10 per hour. The room wasn’t completely clean & the whole hotel, bar, stairways needs to be redecorated as they have seen better days, such a shame as the location is good

Front of house staff were very friendly

Cons:

Extremely disappointed with the cleanliness. Having stayed in this hotel on previous occasions the standard of hygiene has deteriorated and leaves a lot to be desired. When I complained I was told that a manager would contact me. I emailed the manager but had no contact or reply. Will not be revisiting. Would not recommend The Dormy House

Hotel is very good for a short golfing break.

Lovely friendly hotel ideally situated for visiting numerous attractions.
Breakfast hampers in the room are a lovely touch and very convenient for the not so early risers.
Very comfortable beds with crisp white linen and luxurious feeling duvets.

Cons:

Though perfectly adequate and very clean and tidy,our room was on the small size with way too much furniture and in need of refurbishment.

Pros:

Comfy bed breakfast hamper in room topped up every day & fridge in room 5 minute walk to the beach, bus stop 2 minute walk good carpark plenty of spaces staff lovely.

Cons:

No hot water in bathroom & room in need of major revamp hole in bathroom door toilet paper 1ply no cooked breakfast in restaurant but serving meals from lunchtime?.

A perfect relaxing break on the Norfolk coast
Pros:

I loved everything about the property. It is a lovely local B&B, the staff are absolutely lovely, the location was great. I was able to park my car on arrival even though I arrived earlier than the check-in time, and was able to leave it after I had checked out.

The star of the show was the balcony room overlooking the cliff tops and sea. I have wanted to stay in this specific room for a long time and it did not disappoint. The view from the balcony was perfect, lovely to have an evening drink on and a morning coffee. The bath in the room was incredible. It was so deep and relaxing. The bed was comfy and cosy and the breakfast hamper had vegan options at my request. It was a perfect stay!

Cons:

Absolutely nothing - it was perfect!

We had a lovely stay at the Dormy a couple of years ago. Unfortunately we won't be returning.
Pros:

The breakfast was really poor. Alpen, instant porridge, croissants, yogurts and fruit which had to be eaten in our room.
We were expecting a good choice of hot and cold breakfasts and were very disappointed with the meagre selection.

Cons:

There was a large pipe outside our room. I think it was a flue or extraction pipe, possibly fir the kitchen. It was extremely noisy and a couple of times it was chugging away all evening, only cutting off at 1am. It kept us awake and detracted from the view out of our window.
The hotel looked a bit run down, with scraped paint on doors and walls, unvaccuumed carpets on the stairs and a lack of attention to detail.

It was a convenient location.

Cons:

Breakfast included was a hamper in our room, would have preferred to be told this on booking so we were aware there was no hot food available. No proper shower.

Location was good and lovely view from bedroom window

Cons:

Greeted by a lady with a cat on a lead ! To be told our breakfast hamper was in the room , they need to tell you that it’s a hamper as we thought we’d get a proper breakfast ! Room wasn’t very clean , kettle had lots of limescale in so we didn’t use it.
