Cooked breakfast not included…… hamper was only adequate…..

A touching-up of the facilities may be timely. But we didn't really mind it very much.

Very quiet,with not many guests around and the room was at the top of the building with sloping ceilings and I am nearly 6ft so had to watch for bumping head

The room we originally given was very noisy on the main road. So we asked to be moved and we got a room at the back with amazing views of the sea. The one thing I really didn’t like as it said it including breakfast and all breakfast was was a hamper in the room. I think this should’ve been explained when booking.

I was a little dissapointed in the breakfast

It was quite far out from everything we needed, the walk into Cromer was long and very dark.

There was a someones pubick hair in the shower tray. Someone else's wee down the toilet bowl. The rooms hadn't been vacuumed. There was a faulty electric fan (which had to be removed after we noticed a burning smell) quite scary. The glass/mirrored furniture is all cracked, which was extremely scary considering we had a 5yr old who touches everything! The bathroom floor was filthy and there was orange/red mould on the grout. The cups tasted of wet dog, they were stained, as was the cutlery.

I was disappointed that it said breakfast,and it wasn't a cooked breakfast,but a hamper of food instead.The children were especially disappointed,as they'd been looking forward to bacon etc on their little break.
Also a mirror was needed so you could use the hairdryer.The only mirror was in the bathroom.

We had trouble with the shower not running away. Which meant we had to keep turning it off to drain.

It would have been nice to have somewhere to have a quiet drink in the public area without feeling you were taking up space in the restaurant.

The bathroom was enclosed and the shower drain let out unpleasant smells. This was really the only thing that reduced the score to 9.

A couple of suggestions would make the hotel experience even better:
1. The towel rail was not big enough for the bath towels to dry. We had to drape them over the chairs in the bedroom. A couple of hooks on the back of the bathroom door would be helpful additions.
2. There was a large wardrobe in the room, but only 4 hangers. Having more hangers would be appreciated.
3. Could the giant connect 4 game outside on the terrace be relocated away from the rooms above? Children were playing on it quite late in the evening and it makes a heck of a noise.

Complimentary breakfast was nice but a shock as I thought when you said breakfast included that it was a cooked one from downstairs. But was nice to have as a complimentary option. Plug was broken on right side of the bed but this didn't bother us much, and kettle for a family room could do with being a bigger size. Pot holes on the way in need filling asap..lol

Disappointed with hamper breakfast and no cooked breakfast and restaurant had gone it was much better with a restaurant also the decor the photo pictures had gone and furniture downstairs

The decor of the restaurant needs updating and to be made more cosy and welcoming.The tables outside could do with a thorough clean too.Too many cigarettes everywhere.
