Pros:

Location of this hotel is very convenient to reach subway station, Sapporo train station, and shopping area. Convenient stores and restaurants are also very close. In all advantages, there’s one special point worth mentioning. That is. Yamato transport service center right next to the hotel. If you are traveling with luggage and you want to deliver it to airport or next hotel, it’s super convenient.

Molto conveniente e posizione ottima
Pros:

Hotel moderno, con sala fumatori aperta 24h, sala lavatrici e dispenser gratuiti di acqua a ogni piano. Camera spaziosa per gli standard giapponesi e anche il bagno leggermente più grande del solito. Buona la colazione, si ricevono dei buoni per scegliere un set al ristorante situato al piano terra dell'hotel.

Posizione comodissima, 10 minuti a piedi per il parco Odori e la stazione, 15 per Susukino.

Cons:

Sarebbe bello avere anche qualche set per la colazione no giapponese, se non si vuole usare i buoni colazione al ristorante possono essere comunque convertiti per dolci alla reception.
Anche una lavatrice in più non sarebbe male, c'è ne sono solo due al secondo piano e mi è capito facilmente di trovarle entrambe occupate.

Pros:

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und kompetent. Frühstück war sehr gut und der Raum war sehr sauber und frei von zigarettengeruch.

Cons:

Ablage im Badezimmer ist zu klein.

Richmond Hotel Sapporo Ekimae is always my first choice in Sapporo
Pros:

This is my third stay in Richmond during my entire month's trip in Hokkaido. I have not been able to book my second and third stay before I left Europe, so I kept checking and finally got the rooms and am so pleased with all the services and hospitality from the very friendly and polite staff.
I have already reviewed after my first stay, as mentioned in my previous review, I have stayed in the Richmond Hotel since the year 2000's and they have never disappointed me.
This time, I messaged them before our arrival and informed them of my ETA and the car type I rented, and upon our arrival they have already helped arrange the carparking space for our rental car. Their helpfulness and great arrangement really exceeded our expectation. I must thank all the staff here for everything they have helped us through, which made all our three stays during this Hokkaido trip seamless and easy.

About the hotel:
-location: within walking distance between Sappporo Train Station and Susukino, excellent location
-breakfast: 5 options to choose from, full set Japanese breakfast with grilled fish, full set Sashimi breakfast with Salmon and Salmon Roe, Crab Porridge breakfast set, Western Breakfast set, and Kids set. I always choose the full grilled fish set, you can opt for less rice if you find the set large
-amenities: amenities available at the reception area, just take what u need
-language: this trip amazes me as most of their staff speaks very good English, I have to specifically praise two male staff who checked us in during our first stay on 30 May, and our last stay on 16 June, their hospitality and professionalism gives me great comfort despite we were very tired after a long flight on 30 May and after a long road trip on 16 June

地點超級方便，房間可以打開兩個行李箱沒有問題，早餐是套餐多選一，很好吃，而且6：30就開始供應，停車位雖然要付費，但可以保留一整天的車位，不用擔心開出去回來會沒有車位

Always exceeds expectation
Pros:

I have been with Richmond Hotel for long time and everytime I travel to Hokkaido, I would stay a few days with them. Over the decade, I witnessed and experienced their continuous improvements no matter in terms of room facilities, staff service, and breakfast options. Cant fault on anything with them. Once again, they have exceeded my expectations and I will definitely return again if I travel to Sapporo again.
