It was ok, but I wouldn’t rebook.
Pros:

Location is great, close to surfers but not right in the noisy area.
It was good to have space, a large lounge and two bedrooms.
The kids loved the heated pool!

Cons:

We had a few issues… in one of our rooms the light kept randomly turning on through the night, when we asked reception they said it was a known issue to do with the fan/light remotes and they would fix it, but they never did.
Having a full light turn on multiple times through the night waking up the kids for a week was a nightmare!

They also only give you one key fob - but you need the fob to get into the building and to the pool area, which meant we were constantly having to call each other and run keys up and down the lifts to get in and out which was a pain when you have multiple people in one apartment.

They also only gave us one roll of toilet paper per bathroom and two dishwasher tablets. We were 5 people staying for 7 days so we had to go and buy basic things on our first day. which was a bit crap considering if they’d had two or three different bookings for that week they would have had to restock the basics for each booking.

The apartment was clean, but there were long dark hairs over all the towels which wasn’t great.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the stay itself was disappointing. While the apartment looked acceptable at first glance, it felt quite dated, with old furnishings and even a broken TV stored behind the working one. Cleanliness was also below expectations, with noticeable dust in corners and under the bed.
The biggest issue was the lack of basic supplies for a 6-night stay for two adults and a toddler. We arrived late and found there was no toilet paper, only single-use toiletries, one rubbish bag, and minimal dishwashing/laundry supplies. This meant we had to go back out to the supermarket that night just to buy essentials like toilet paper, soap, shampoo, and cleaning products.
Because we were out during normal reception hours most days — leaving in the morning and returning in the evening like most tourists — it wasn’t easy to raise these issues straight away. Once we were finally able to catch reception, more supplies were provided, but honestly these basics should have been adequately stocked from the start for the length of our stay.
There were also no spare towels, sheets, or blankets, which made the stay less comfortable.

Pros:

Loved the apartment we had. So much room, two bathrooms, lovely kitchen and a lovely view from the lounge looking over the garden.
Tram 4mins walk and walking into Surfers 10mins

Cons:

The only tiny thing was that the windows in the lounge were so dirty. But everything’s else great.

Cleaner/s needs to clean properly (apartment 2005)
Pros:

The view was very lovely, walking distance to the beach and The Esplanade.

Cons:

Unfortunately, this time, the room we were in was not cleaned to an acceptable standard. We found hairs on both bathroom floors, in the shower areas, in one of the toilets, and on one of the beds. In addition, there were several other areas throughout the apartment that had clearly not been properly cleaned. We took photographs as evidence of the condition upon arrival. We bought some cleaning products and washed the bed sheets.

Apartment smelt like it had been cleaned with dirty dishwasher on arrival and we had waited for it to be finished. The window in the one bathroom did not seal at all. The window lock on the dining room window didnt work which mean it opened all the way leaving a gaping window from below hip height on the 22nd floor!
The sliding door - only one side opened the other refused. The light fittings were rusted. There qas a ledge about a half inch into both bathrooms, one of our guests stubbed their toe and ripped their nail out. The amount of supplies given were ridiculous

Horrible and worst cleanliness
Pros:

The most unacceptable issue was the cleanliness of the room. The toilet was clearly not cleaned after the previous guest—there were visible fecal stains on the inside of the bowl, which was absolutely disgusting. This alone made the room unusable and raised serious concerns about the hotel’s hygiene standards.

The air conditioning was very weak and could not properly cool the room, and the WiFi was slow. However, these were minor compared to the sanitation issue.

Customer service was also extremely disappointing. After seeing the condition of the toilet, we immediately requested to cancel our stay. Due to the public holiday, we were told by after-hours staff to email the hotel with photo evidence, which we did. The next day, reception told us a full refund had been approved and that we just needed to wait for Booking.com to process it.

However, the hotel never responded to Booking.com. When we followed up again, they claimed they never received our email and that the email address they originally provided was incorrect. The staff were unprofessional, gave contradictory information, and kept delaying the process. Not once did they apologize for the poor cleanliness of the room.

Even after resending the email to the “correct” address, there was still no response, and we were asked to contact the manager again the next day.

Overall, this was a very frustrating experience. The hygiene standards and customer service were both unacceptable.

Overall I am very satisfied and can confidently recommend it.
Pros:

I liked everything, the price-quality ratio is quite acceptable. The most luxurious thing about this hotel is the ocean view.

Cons:

I think the bathrooms in the rooms will need renovation.
