Close proximity to things we wanted to do (eg snorkling) & very comfortable. Access to the hotel for drinks & food was great.

Great for a short stay at Arcadia

Great location, although the pub was a bit noisy at night.

Adequate room and facilities
Pros:

Location of motel was very handy for being close to and in the middle of beach locations - i.e. right in middle of Horseshoe, Alma and Picnic Bay beaches and snorkeling sites at Geoffrey Bay.
Also close to nice pool and bar/cafe/restaurant and bottle-o store at Arcadia Village Hotel - very handy for those those.

Cons:

Room was ill prepared when we arrived, all the small print about opening hours of the reception (we arrived bang on 5pm) and that the room would only be serviced after 3 days was NOT in the information via Booking.com, so I was unaware that we would not get the towels and sheets changed until after day 3.
Even with that knowledge we had to call twice (incurring extra overseas call charges) on Day 5 to get the room services and then I suspect the complimentary refreshments and toiletries were then OVER supplied in a gesture of sarcasm!
The cost at $200 AUS per night meant I had higher expectations of the quality and

Pros:

The only thing that was good was the food next door at the separate venue and there was a really lovely lady working there Lucy.

Cons:

The room had an awful smell, dry plumbing issues, so bad, Mold in the bathroom, shower had sand in the bottom not cleaned, broken toilet roll holder, broken shower taps couldn’t tell hot or cold, one of the beds hadn’t been changed hair and crumbs in sheets, floor sandy and not cleaned. It was so disappointing, I have many photos nothing like photos online, please don’t get caught like us, don’t book this motel

Ended in disaster - staff nowhere to be found

It was in a good location, close to the Stage Door theatre restaurant.

Cons:

The property requires some upkeep.
On the 2nd night our key broke off in the lock (it had been very fiddly before this). This was following the show. We tried to phone reception for almost an hour (2 numbers were listed) but no one answered or responded to the calls/messages. We also spoke to the publican at the adjoining pub but he was unable to help. We ended up having to break the door to get into the room after 10pm at night. Then we had to put furniture in front of the door to feel safe.

Cons:

The pillows were terrible. The bed only had 3 pillows and we had to use 2 to make a reasonable one and the other was just enough to raise my head off the mattress.
